The associate at the perfume counter was not very professional. First, I made the mistake of applying for the in-house credit card. If you already have a credit card with a good or even a decent credit score, pass on opening the card. Stick with what the bank issued to you. The extra discount you get when you open a credit card is not worth the ding on your credit score.
Secondly, during the application process, I informed the associate that she had typed my address incorrectly into the application prompt. She went back to fix it but still got the information incorrect. When I brought it to her attention, her comment was, "It doesn't matter. It will be okay." The address was submitted incorrectly and took me about 4 days to get it corrected. When you open a new credit card, it takes up to 72 hours for the consumer to make any changes such as home address, etc. Imagine, to her "It doesn't matter" that the bill / statement will not be delivered to the correct address. How does that work?
I can understand that people are under pressure to help customers and even open up credit card accounts. However, stating to a customer that inputting the correct address into a credit card application "doesn't matter" is misleading and only yields wasted time.

Read more1 star for the Armenian lady working the Benefit counter this evening. First off I had to find her by asking another worker if there was anyone working the Benefit makeup section. The other worker pointed her out as she was chatting with a coworker by the perfume section. Then she shouted from a distance, 'What you need?'. I responded "I'd like to look at something at the Benefit counter." 'Then look.' she responded. I chuckled out of sheer shock and said, "I need you to pull something out." She came over and then left again saying, "I need to get the key." She got lost a little while again leaving me to wait while she talked to someone else. She clearly knows how to waste time and not help people. When she opened the counter she was super annoyed and not polite at all. Then after purchasing $60 of stuff I had to ask for samples. To no surprise she said they were all out. This women needs to be supervised or removed. ‐---------- 5 stars for Vladimir in the shoe department this evening. Read moreThe store is and always been the best and no Human no matter how much they lie will take that from me! But beware of the employees who decide on things that don’t apply to their existence! Manager Maria is awful example for the rest specially the new ones! She made up all these lies and excuses of why she couldn’t exchange my shirt from small to medium! So I had to pretend like I was leaving and asked another employee who solved my problem in seconds! I won’t say who for her protection from people who abuse their power in this case the manager but any ways! Also be careful with the online call people! They maxed out my credit cards and had to close several plus start a investigation! Wich I don’t doubt will get resolved just can’t believe so many problems because of employees doing what they will with someone else’s business! Either way I love you macys I know it’s not you and most employees just this few poor cursed souls who spread lies and bad vibes! I pitty them and hope they learn the hard way or through own experience so they can mold themselves to...
