Went to Paul Mitchell School to have hair done. Went from Black/Grey (laughing) to Medium Brown.

Student named Mac did hair coloring overseen by a professional hair stylist to make sure that there was no hiccups. Mac was friendly and kept me posted throughout the process which took 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

☆Was informed by Mac that color should last 8 to 12 weeks before salt & pepper comes back (laughing)☆

Parking: Paul Mitchell School does not validate & there is no free parking in downtown Pasadena. So I had no choice but to park in structure near Paul Mitchell School. $17.09 for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Yikes...

If you want to change your look, go to Paul Mitchell School. I am very happy with the results and looking forward to rocking Medium Brown hair for 2 to 3 months.

Note: Went through Groupon for hair coloring. Normally $40.00

Groupon $25.00 Parking $17.09 Tip...

The Shops on Lake Avenue really surprised me in the best way. It’s one of those rare places that has a bit of everything — you’ve got your practical stops like Target, Trader Joe’s, and Macy’s, but then also some great little boutiques, a bookstore, and spots you actually want to wander into.

The vibe is really chill — clean streets, leafy trees, and a mix of old-school charm and modern convenience. You can run errands, grab a decent meal, or just enjoy a slow afternoon without the chaos of a big shopping centre.

There’s also no shortage of food options. Whether you want a sit-down meal at Nick’s or just need a quick Starbucks, it’s all right there.

I didn’t expect to like it as much as I did, but honestly? It’s a solid go-to — easy, walkable, and has everything you need without feeling like a...

This has been a destination point for shopping in Pasadena for the last 25+ years. This section of Lake Ave has about a half mile of shops and restaurants which sometimes makes it a one stop trip for a variety of items. Except for the Macy's most stores are small to medium in size which sometimes prevents certain larger businesses from setting up shop. This however doesn't mean the businesses there aren't well known or worth visiting. Pasadena has done great job of making this area nice and as a result the restaurants and shops are usually more upscale. Most days parking isn't an issue but on holidays and peak shopping times it may take a little patience and time to find a spot. Parking lot and some stores could use a makeover as they're gradually becoming outdated...

We went to meet Property Manager, Andrea Adams at the Corporate Center Pasadena (An LEED Gold Award winner for being an eco-friendly environment). Ms. Adams asked that we be a part of their upcoming week long Earth Day Celebration this April 17th - 21st 2017. We will be hosting a gift and book fair on April 19th showcasing products that are eco-friendly and educational, with a portion of the proceeds going towards The Earth Day Networks "Canopy Project". This project is instrumental in the reforestation of our planet. The week's festivities to be sponsored by the visionary management team of the Center will be all about education in how to be enviromentally aware and active in our workplaces, in our homes and in our communities. Very excited and honored to play a part.

I went to my first time to Randy's Donuts for the Sonic 3 donuts and it was so disappointing. First: the guy kept talking to someone else and never bothered to even ask or help us as our first time going to the store. We felt completely ignored. Second: when the guy got the donut and put them on the tray, some fruit fly just appeared out of nowhere, and I got disturbed by it Third: complete mess and just felt ignored. They just toss the donuts in a bag. Don't even make it nice Finally: the advertisement of the Sonic3 Donuts was false. I ask for They did not even give a sticker or stand for it. Apperently, they said they never got them, and it's false advertising. Sadly, I do not wish to come back to this donut place.
