Edit 5/05/20: Exact quote from GA Dept of Health regulations: " On April 23rd, 2020, Governor Kemp issued an Executive Order to allow restaurants to reopen dining rooms, in accordance with specific guidelines, starting April 27, 2020. This includes all facilities that meet the definition of "food service establishment" per O.C.G.A. 26-2-370(2). (Restaurants without in-house dining operating prior to April 27th should continue to follow previous guidelines with the exception that now all foodservice employees are required to wear face coverings, regardless of whether the dining room is open.)" I can forward a copy of this to the owners as they are not willing to acknowledge this requirement. As a clarification, as previously stated, I trusted this restaurant that they were doing the right thing and only did the research online and contacted the manager a few hours later after my family ate some of the pizza. Therefore I did not return the pizza. I do take this seriously and have made reports to Gwinnett County and the Governors office. This restaurant is not following the requirements of the Georgia Dept. of Health irregardless of what they are stating. Suggest all read for themselves online and make your own determination.
Would like to rate a negative number if I could over my visit to the store on 5/3/20. Went to pick up to go pizza and noticed that the patio had people eating food on the patio. While paying for my food I observed that no staff members including kitchen staff were not wearing any masks. I thought it was strange but assumed the restaurant was in compliance with current COVID requirements. I paid for the food and left the restaurant. A few hours later I did some online research and found out that this restaurant was not in compliance with Georgia requirements. Based GA health department COVID requirements effective 4/27/20, all restaurant workers are required to wear face coverings whether the restaurant has dining in operations OR takeout only. I called the restaurant manager and talked to someone named John. I asked whether they were in compliance with current COVID requirements and he stated that they were. I questioned him about the use of masks and he told me that they were not required because the restaurant was doing only to go food. I stated that I thought the restaurant was wrong and John (manager) got very defensive and told me if I did not like it I could take my business elsewhere. I even asked him why all Publix employees are wearing masks including food prep/deli staff and he told Publix is over cautious! John stated that he is protecting his staff and the community health and I told him that the restaurant is not. DO NOT ASSUME THAT THE RESTAURANT YOU PATRONIZE WILL FOLLOW CURRENT COVID HEALTH REQUIREMENTS!! Will contact applicable local and state COVID agencies. This lack of health practices places all public...
Read moreI have never before experienced such poor customer service. This was my first time visiting this place as a friend had recommended it. I was looking forward to lunch as I had read great reviews online. But it started off on a sour note right from the get go. It took 10 minutes for Tammy to acknowledge that I was standing in line at the counter to request food to eat at the patio. I was the only one in line. Then when she came over to the counter, I felt her strong prejudice towards me based on the color of my skin which is brown. Then when she took my order it turned out that I was ordering a 12"pizza Primavera which would not have been enough for my friends and I. I had already told her that this was my first time eating there and she just didn't take the time to explain how the menu and the eating outdoors at the patio works. Anyway I changed our order to the NY Cheese BYO with the same ingredients as the Primavera but with added chicken and extra cheese. I reiterated 4 times that I need to make sure that my order has chicken in it. To my utter disappointment, I got the pizza without chicken. When I asked about the chicken, they went back to check my order and then brought a plate of chicken and plunked it down on the table. To say that I was disappointed is putting it mildly. I asked to speak with the manager and his excuse was that their oven can't handle more than 4 toppings as the toppings apparently don't cook well. Keep in mind, in the same breath, he didn't waste any time pointing out to my friend that their oven cooks at 800F temperature. I wonder if an oven can operate on such a high temperature, why can't it cook more than 4 toppings. Also if Tammy had told us that their oven can't handle more than 4 toppings, I would have asked them to remove either the artichokes or the broccolini. I need my chicken to be cooked on the pizza along with the extra cheese that I had paid for. Overall, I felt I was discriminated against based on the color of my skin and this poor service is what I deserve for being brown. I am appalled at the staff and the manager and their attitude towards me and I will never ever visit this place again. The manager absolutely did not care for my opinion about the food which I delivered in the most calm and cool manner, even though I was seething with fury on the inside. I know he doesn't care to see my brown skin at his establishment and his attitude of, " its too bad you didn't like the food", felt like a slap in the face. I'm sure there are other places in Atlanta that serve better pizza and have exceptional customer service. A very disappointed one time...
Read moreI went in to this location to pick up an order for a delivery app. After waiting for approximately 10 minutes, the young lady who had the order called out the customer’s name and I raised my hand. She said show me that you’ve confirmed the order on your phone. I told her that I didn’t need to show her my phone, and I said put the pizza in the bag and then I’ll confirm the order. She said no, refusing to give me the order because I wouldn’t show her my phone, so I left. I have been delivering for this restaurant on and off for years, and while it’s become a habit for employees to say confirm the order, no one has ever said to show me your phone. First off, I have delivered 100 percent of orders that I agreed to deliver. Second, I had my branded delivery bag. I will never set foot in this location as a customer or delivery driver again since there is such a blatant distrust for the people who’ve been driving these pizzas to customers all over metro ATL.
Update: Look at how management responds to the slightest criticism of this establishment. Not only is it unprofessional; it is sophomoric and shows a lack of appreciation for the people who spend money there. Shameful!
Another Update: You’re wrong. I’m an independent contractor and not an employee. I’m using my personal phone to complete a task and I don’t have to be subjected to the undignified treatment of your staff as directed by you. In order to confirm that I have received an order, I must receive the product and YOUR EMPLOYEE made up her own rule about me showing her my phone—which I won’t ever do at any establishment in order to earn a few bucks. I don’t steal or do fraudulent activities, and the insinuation that delivery drivers do this is problematic. At any rate, enjoy yourself making reports—just make sure you have your facts straight; otherwise,...
