Beard Papa is a wonderful pastry addition to Atlanta. When you first walk into the store you'll be welcomed by a smell of a fresh fragrance that warms your heart. Along with this is that you'll be greeted happily by the staff and that is always a plus in my book.
A big tip for finding this location is to drive around the side and not towards the bank. The location on Google Maps when I went did not have the updated location yet. Parking can feel limited, but there's plenty all around. Especially on nice sunny days, taking a stroll around is definitely not a bad thing to do.
Of course you'll find tradition flavors for the creme puffs such as chocolate or vanilla, but soon they'll be adding more as well. I definitely recommend the green tea with vanilla filling. The pastry is fresh and airy, and the filling is not too overly sweet but makes for the nicest treat. To go along with the pastries there's also coffee and other drinks that is offered. Also $1 for a water bottle, random I know. But I appreciate when a place doesn't up charge for water.
Overall Beard Papa is a great place for kids, families, first dates or casual outings that call for a nice treat. This area also includes 'The Forum' across the street that is great for shopping. Highly recommended to give a try, especially for the sweet...
Read moreThe worst thing about this place is that it opened after I moved out of the area. The best thing is they recently added bubble tea drinks to their menu and they are SO FREAKING GOOD. I already knew beard papa had 10/10 cream puffs but the drinks are 10/10 too.
Unfortunately, the milk tea options are only on the weekends but the yakult drinks are to die for. Perfect combo of fresh fruit flavor and yogurty goodness. Personally I ask for the strawberry with less sugar and the lemon with more (the lemon is SOUR, it's like they put a whole lemon in there but if you like soury drinks it's probably perfect).
Cream puffs are light, not too sweet, and have lots of options. I also recommend the almond round if you like almonds and want something with more structure.
Parking is kind of pain in the town center plaza where this is. I normally have to drive around a couple times if I don't want to park in the garages and walk. Location is bright and clean and overall...
Read moreToday I stopped by Beard Papa’s (Peachtree Corners) to try out some of their creme puffs. I was immediately given a friendly greeting by Michael who schooled me on the various speciality drinks and puffs. There were quite a few options for both, but I opted for the Thai Milk which was refreshingly delicious. With so many delicious creme puffs to choose from, I left with seven puffs although I could have easily selected more. The creme puffs are amazing. The pasty was light and fluffy with a light creme filling perfect. Neither the drink or creme puff were overly sweet. The inside of Beard Papa’s was immaculately clean from the floors to the countertops and the tables. If looking for a nice light treat for any occasion, definitely pay the Beard Papa’s a visit. You won’t be...
