2 stars because the ice cream was good (I didn’t like the Oreo cheesecake my boyfriend had, it was way too rich, but cherry berry was quite tasty)

This place needs a lot of work. We arrived and it was very crowded so I wasn’t surprised there was no ā€œwelcomeā€ greeting but very quickly it became clear that everything was chaos.

We waited in line for over 20 minutes, despite there being only 2 people ahead of us. There were no names or order numbers taken, so every time a finished order would be called out just by the flavor, so customers are I guess expected to just keep track of everyone who ordered ahead of them?

When we were next in line, no employee looked at us or greeted us for another 10+ minutes as they were so backed up with orders. There was no organization of set jobs, and every employee looked exhausted and worked to death. No one was smiling or even interacting with each other.

We finally place our order of 2 rolled ice creams and it’s another 25+ minutes before my boyfriend’s is ready. We wait another 10+ minutes for my ice cream, while 2-3 others who ordered after us got their orders. Absolute chaos, which could easily be remedied by adding an order number to the sticker they put on each cup.

There was no warning of the extremely long wait times, no communication, and no apologies for the wait. Other patrons were complaining to us while waiting, saying ā€œthis is the first and last time I’ll ever come hereā€ and even my boyfriend voiced the question curious if they ever have repeat customers. A family of 6 came in after us with small children and no warning that they’d be waiting a minimum of 30 minutes for their orders to be filled.

All of the fun that should come with getting to see rolled ice cream being made is negated by the exhausted and checked out staff and the extremely long wait times with 0 communication or even order numbers as an indication of how long we’d be waiting.

tl/dr this place is severely disorganized and understaffed. They need a better system in place, more employees, and better...

If I could give 0 stars for customer service I would. I’ve been in the hospitality industry for over 12 years and know first hand how important word of mouth advertisement is. I would NEVER recommend this place. My friend and traveled from Philly to Georgia and when we asked where to get the best rolled ice cream we were told about this place. We walked in tonight at 9:41pm just as another couple had just walked out. As soon as we walked in, our only greeting was ā€œsorry we’re closed now we’ve cleaned all of tables and won’t be rolling anymore ice cream.ā€ Not a hello, welcome, nothing. Just very cold and rude. We arrived 20 minutes prior to closing and as I said before there was another couple walking out as we were walking in. If you’re going to close 20 minutes early you may want to advertise as closing at 9:30. This was a huge disappointment. There were 3 employees working, none of them offered to help. They all just followed what the first girl said. I would recommend better customer...

I would not recommend this place to anyone. Very disappointed with service, worker's hygiene, and especially the way they made the ice cream roll. They do not mix the liquid and the flavor well. They mix it very briefly and spread the liquid instead of frozen well mixed product. In the pina colada ice cream there were big chunks of pineapple and coconut which should have been chopped using the sharp utensils before spreading. These guys keep using the same gloves when handling money and making ice cream. Work area is very disorganized and dirty. Who ever owns this place clearly does not care, because all the reviews I have read clearly shows the same working style and appearance in the store. People working in the store appeared as if they just work up and came to work wearing flip flops. I do not foresee any changes in the future since nothing has changed so far and no response/explanation has been given by owners to negative reviews. This is the last time I will be going...

While the concept of Kremo is great, the staffing has always been really terrible. I’ve been coming here since it opened and have at most seen three employees, usually two or tonight just the one. He’s happy to bring up the register and take people’s money but took 20 minutes to put out two bowls of the standard ice cream Menu with no modifications and there are at least 15 orders that came in after ours. The rent here has been raised substantially and I believe this is a personally franchise so hoping that operating cost or staffing can change before we hit spring break or the busier days and months coming. If we had not beat the rush we would’ve left. Pictures of the women’s bathroom just to show it had not been checked in a while, although I cleaned it up myself as much as I could

Ice cream is fine but it is a bit too rich for my blood. They do make it in front of you but after 3 orders it cost over $20. I went on a busy Sunday afternoon. Waited 10 minutes to place my order and another 20 minutes before we received the ice cream. These require alot of manual labor and can take a minute to make. Just 2 employees working and they are understaffed. Place could have been cleaner I just think they were behind. Tables had cracks in them. This place is only a couple of years old and the furniture has taken quite a beating
