Floor & Decor — Attraction in Pearland

I must say that I have had an excellent first time visit experience at the Floor & Decor location @ Pearland, TEXAS. My story started with the realization that I was not going to have enough of the (Now discontinued) Julyo ceramic tile that I purchased 4 years ago…. When attempting to get more I was informed that the Pearland Store was the only location that had any of it in stock. I dailed the number that Daniel answered and was completely and totally helpful and kind and patient with me and answered every question I had and gave me the confidence that he would pull the product I needed as soon as I make my online order. He took my info and I proceeded to order via the website which was easy peasy to do and I planned to pick up my order the next day (today) since it was a 55 minute trip each way from my home in Spring, TX. This morning I woke and planned to head down there and the phone rang and a very kind young lady’s voice set up my approximate pick up time and told me everything that I needed to know to pick up my (already staged) tiles based on my 55 min. Travel time to get there. Upon arriving… the young woman at the pro desk pick up area was polite and helpful and directed me to the restroom upon my request and as I walked the depth of the store, I was greeted by every single employee along the way and asked if they could help me with anything. Two gentlemen, then walked my four boxes of tile to my car and loaded it into my trunk and very politely thanked me!! Then, I decided to test the actual shopping vibes in the store over all since everyone I had met thus far were exhibiting the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE that I had ever experienced in a retail environment over my 60 years of life.. including over 30 years actually working in retail and home improvement arenas… the two employees at the wall tiles not only directed me to the location where the flooring transitions were displayed (on the opposite side of the entire store) but offered to walk me to them!! I declined the offer but I was impressed to say the least…. When I arrived at the transitions, Travis proceeded to offer his assistance and chatted and discussed the fact that I was overwhelmed by the HIGH LEVEL of customer service and authenticity throughout the entire store via well chosen employees!! I could have talked with Travis much longer but I allowed him to get back to what he was doing and as I was walking away he once again asked if I had found the transitions that would work for my project!!! Great follow through and I just had to give you all a shout out…. What started as a desperate attempt to drive what seemed forever to get the needed supplies ended with a friendly appreciation for being valued as a human being in a retail world!! Several months ago I had the pleasure of working with Daniel at Floor & Decor in Pearland and I can't speak highly enough about the experience. We have used Floor & Decor at 2 other locations over there years and never been satisfied with customer service. Daniel's professionalism and expertise truly set him apart. From the moment I walked into the store, he greeted me with a warm and friendly demeanor, making me feel welcomed and valued as a customer.

Daniel's knowledge about the various flooring options was impressive. He took the time to understand my specific needs and preferences, providing insightful recommendations that helped us to make an informed decision. His patience and attention to detail ensured that I felt confident in my choices.

Throughout the process, Daniel demonstrated exceptional customer service. He was always available to answer my questions and address any concerns we had, going above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction. My husband explained we had a dog. Daniel was able to show us all the different flooring styles while keeping in mind the durability. My husband and I could make a decision and agree on what to purchase the same day. Normally it is a very long process for us. But thanks to Daniel, we were in and out before lunch. His dedication and commitment to providing a positive shopping experience were evident in every interaction.

Thanks to Daniel's assistance, I found the perfect flooring for my home. I highly recommend seeking out Daniel at Floor & Decor for anyone in need of expert advice and top-notch service. He is truly an asset to the team, and I am grateful...

I experienced very poor customer service from the casheir Asia today. I came in with a no-receipt return that was over 90 days, requesting only store credit. I was told to get what I needed and we would then complete the credit. I returned some time later to complete the transaction with a nearly $1000 purchase in my cart. However, I was told that she couldn't help me with a credit for a purchase that was over 90 days. I knew this was untrue because of the policy on their website AND I have made these types of returns at Floor and Decore in the past with absolutely no hassle. Asia was unaware of the store's policies or was being intentionally obtuse. Either way she made no effort to help me. Ironically she was training a new cashier at the time. I was forced to abandon my purchase. After arriving home I reviewed the return policy to be sure it hadn't changed and called a different Floor and Decore location. The return/credit process was explained to me in detail and was accepted without any trouble. THAT store understands customer service and will be getting my business for all future purchases. Ridiculous...
