Tai Ji Hands & Massage — Attraction in Pensacola

I'm not even sure how you can rate this place bad, for one, me and my girlfriend just came in here on 9/28/24, as we were on a trip to Pensacola, there's a few things people lack the understanding of, one being a deep tissue massage is NOT supposed to be a comfortable feeling, it is going to be deep, for it to work correctly you have to correct your mindset during the process and allow your muscles to relax while they're pushing into you, I had two muscle knots, they advised me for more time due to this and worked them up pretty well, after some time the beginning pain became relaxing after you fight through the discomfort at first of the deep massage, and let me tell you, I could barely even move when I was finished, my body's muscles fully relaxed, a UNBELIEVABLE experience, I had so much tension and anxiety from what I had no idea was even going on and they identified two muscle knots and from what it feels like is relieved, I can't even believe and have so many thanks for this place because I could barely sleep, I had so much anxiety and more issues occurring due to what was muscle issues on my back and neck, they really got in there and addressed me and my girlfriend, this place deserves more praise, truly a sensational experience, excellent staff, experts at this, I would gladly come here every single week, next day I had some soreness but I slept AMAZING for once in months and months, thankyou Tai Ji...

Overall, very painful experience. I was rushed to the table, no questions asked about sensitive places/amount of pressure I wanted. I had to tell the gentleman to take it easy on a few places because I was wincing in more pain than I arrived with. It’s a decent price and he did an okay job getting the knots out of my tense shoulders but everywhere else was painful. It was also a little unorganized because at some point someone took off one of my socks and started putting lotion on my foot for all of a few seconds before walking away, leaving me with an exposed foot only to return a while later and put the sock back on. He also tried to pressure me into spending more money than I wanted a few times while in the middle of the session which I did not appreciate. The atmosphere is not decorated at all and there’s no music to relax to. In general, very weird, awkward, painful and uncomfortable place. My wife convinced me to obtain a massage. Took me to Tai Ji massage. After quick rush to lay me down, I was shown a menu of prices. It was too dark to read so deferred to my wife. No one asked me if I had sensitive areas to be careful around or avoid. No one asked me about the pressure (firm, medium, or lite pressure). Being disabled I was not able to communicate loud enough. I am still in pain 24 hours after When they finished zi had tears coming from my eyes. Needed help to get away from that place as fast as I could. I would avoid this clip joint by any means.
