Unreal event space, such a hidden gem filled with history, and wonderful flexible amenities and staff. With a comprehensive tour, we knew we would use the space for our Philly wedding weekend - and if they had AC in the largest room, and we had fewer guests, we would’ve had our whole wedding here! Jenn helped us secure ASMH for a Friday night dinner, Saturday lunch, and parking for the weekend. The rates are incredible and you’re contributing to maintaining this important space and community. They have tons of chairs and tables, AV options, and flexibility to rent different sized spaces. Jenn was communicative, and so helpful in designing our event and recommended other trusted vendors who would work well in their space. When we had late-breaking changes, their team was helpful and accommodating to evolve with us. I’ll

My middle school students went on a field trip to Arch Street Meeting House this week and had a fantastic time! Jennifer, our guide, was knowledgeable, engaging, and flexible. The tour consisted of the gardens and exterior, and then the interior of the building. Since we are a Quaker school, the students were able to learn more about the history of the Quakers in Philadelphia as well as have time to sit in a meeting room that is over 200 years old. We participated in a walking tour of Olde City after lunch, and Jennifer continued to make connections with the students to the information they learned earlier. It was an excellent presentation, and I would highly recommend it for those who who have an interest in Philadelphia history.

If you're in Old City Philadelphia make sure you check out Arch Street Meeting House. While not the original Quaker worship site in the city, this location continues to serve as an important part of the local Quaker community as it has for the past two centuries. As expected with an anti-baptist, protestant house of worship, the interior of the complex speaks of the simplicity of Quaker beliefs. That said, it also speaks of their craftsmanship as the woodwork will leave you, even if you're not typically a fan of architecture, breathless. Check in and see when services take place and if you can visit when meetings or services are not taking place, you will enjoy yourself tremendously. And make sure you read the signs outside or speak to a member inside about what lies beneath your feet as you walk the...
