We visited this store on our trip to Wrestlemania 40 in Philly. It had everything we needed. The uncle in the store was one of the most friendliest small business owners that we had the fortune of meeting on our short 6 day stay in the city. (That's really saying something as all of the small business owners are incredible).
If you are visiting any of the historical sites such as the Liberty Bell or Independance Hall, the shop is literally a 5 minute walk from these sites and features souvenirs such as mini Declarations , Rocky Statues and Presidential busts, the list goes on.
While we were shopping we witnessed a customer accidentally drop a shot glass on the floor and it shattered. We thought too ourselves , ohhh it's gonna kick off, and it did sort off, but not it the way I expected. The poor girl was mortified and kept trying to pay for the item, but Uncles kind heart out her at ease, even though she repeatedly tried to pay for it. He assured her that accidents happen , and I myself witnessed first hand why they call this the City of Brotherly Love.
He sells bangin' Cherry Chap sticks too...

Read moreI was staying in a hotel in the area and I just happened to find this cute souvenir shop while walking around. Even though I usually get my souvenirs on Market Street, I figured I would give this place a shot to see if they have anything different, which they do. Upon entering, I was greeted warmly by Jay, the store owner. He was very nice and helpful. He was interested in knowing where I was visiting from, and he gave me a nice little background about himself. The store, even though it is small, has a lot to choose from, and the prices are reasonable. He even has souvenirs for NY, where he originally lived prior to living in Philly. The store isn't too crowded, and everything is well organized. Overall, I had a nice experience shopping here this past weekend, and I will make sure I stop in again the next time I stay in...
Read moreWent last week to philly for my son’s lacrosse tournament and got to go site seeing. On our exploration of philly and the history sites, we walked and wanted to get a few souvenirs of our trip. We found philly souvenirs and it was great. A little bit of everything, reasonable prices, quality items, and the nicest man who owned and ran the store. We spoke briefly about business, the area, recovering from covid economy shutdown, religion, and I told him he was genuinely one of the nicest and calm people I had ever met. I hope more people travel soon and stop to see him and enjoy a little conversation and buy some gifts and t shirts. It felt great to know I was supporting a local business, and sweet...
