Sosuite at The Loxley - Old City — Hotel in Philadelphia

We loved our stay at SoSuite at Loxley. For 3 nights, the price was reasonable for the service, ease of check in, and overall conditions of the property and our stay. We brought our dog and kids and were comfortable. The room is clean and looked just as advertised! The shower, washer, and dishwasher worked perfectly and the AC cooled our room up pretty quickly and stayed cool throughout our stay. By the 2nd night, we asked for new towels and requested for trash pick up which was easily requested through the website. The owner followed us quickly as well via text and delivered our requested items in a bag outside the room while we placed our trash neatly outside the door as well. The staff typically comes in the room, but the owner verified if we were okay with that, and understood that I did not want the staff to be startled by our dog. The check out process is fairly easy and similar to check in. As far as parking, this is Philly so expect street parking and very limited options. We were able to find a valet parking garage in Old City and kept our car there throughout our stay. We loved SoSuite and would stay...

My son and I took a field trip to downtown Philadelphia and Sosuite at the Loxley was a perfect location for us. We booked a parking spot and then were able to walk everywhere from Independence Hall to the Christ Church Burial Grounds, to Franklin's printing press. There were great restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops in the neighborhood, and it was a safe and fun environment. The rooms themselves were pristine and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. We could make tea and heat up dinner in the kitchenette, and relax in the living room and watch a film together in the evening. The check-in was easy and the building was very secure and easy to access with the codes we were given. The elevator made our stay on the fourth floor the perfect combination of ease and privacy up from the city street. We rented a studio. I absolutely loved my stay. It was so cozy and I appreciated not being in a hotel. It felt like a home away from home! The set up was very nice and we really utilized everything available.

We watched tv on the couch and in bed. We loved that there was a tea kettle for tea!

The washer was very convenient! I'm coming home from vacation with all clean clothes!

I didn't know there would be no wash cloths. Maybe I could have read more, but that was unexpected. It was a short stay so the fact that there was no closet or dresser wasn't a huge deal, but I could see that being an inconvenience for a longer stay (this is for the studio, the larger apartments might have closet/dresser)

I will definitely be staying with sosuite if/whenever I come...
