Honestly, this the best church I have ever attended. Monsignor Paul is truly an amazing human being. And, a fantastic pastor. The history of this church is part of the core of America. And, he recognizes that awesome responsibility while also representing the heart and sole of modern Philadelphia. This Roman Catholic Church, built in 1763, is not far from Independence Hall, and tied to it in American history. The adjoining cemetery includes the graves of Commodore Barry (Father of the US Navy) and George Meade. Members of the Continental Congress attended services here from 1777-1781.
