I was pressured into a service I didn’t request being told dip would last longer than gel … after my nails started chipping 2 days of having them and texting Tiffany about my nails chipping i was never asked “when is a good time to come in to fix your nails” or even “I’m sorry that happened that is not the standard we have” after multiple texts with Tiffany trying to find a resolution she has now blocked my number. They are an appointment only salon so clearly they care about maintaining the customers they already have rather than caring for clients they don’t believe will come back or make consistent appointments. From being ignored while they ran 30 mins late for my appointment (as in not greeted but talked about to the client at the station saying “after I finish you then I have her (despite being a “queer owned business I was misgendered) THEN I’m done”) the lack of consideration I received for having a completely ruined set of nails before two weeks is up, to not even receiving a manicure and only receiving dip during my “dip manicure” to having the shape of my nails chosen for me without any consultation to them very obviously rushing and telling me to not come back on a Friday next time when they are the ones who scheduled me to I’m sure more… disappointed with my service does not even begin to cover my feelings on the experience I had at Talon Nail Bar. I am thrilled to welcome this new addition to the neighborhood! Capably run by a charming mother-daughter team, Talon Nail Bar offers a full menu of quick and expert nail services at amazing prices; high-quality vegan, organic nail products; a safe, sanitary environment and a delightful ambience, complete with complimentary beverages. I’m now looking forward to my fourth visit and my experience has been consistently excellent throughout. Enthusiastically recommend!

I write to update this review as the one-year anniversary of my first visit approaches. Not only have I remained a loyal customer, but become more devoted in that time. Since I discovered Talon Nail Bar, I have not even considered getting my nails done anywhere else. I have never had gel color last this long done anywhere else. See the photo below for proof. As is typical, this gel polish held up flawlessly for over two weeks with nary a chip. I only went to get them redone because my nails, which have been at their healthiest since I was adopted by Talon Nail Bar, were growing out. I called many times to make an appointment without an answer. I was really eager to try this place given the amazing reviews, so I drove by to make an appointment in person. When I arrived I saw a flashing "open" sign but the door was closed with a sign that said "appointment only, knock when you arrive for your appointment". After I knocked, a lady suspiciously peeked through the blinds and finally opened the door when I gestured. I explained I was trying to make an appointment and the lady said she was booked without further explanation. I asked for how long and she said a whole month, without offering to make an appointment for me in the future. It was a bizarre experience and the least they could have done is answer the phone or even just change their voicemail message to state that they are not taking new clients for a month.
