For a smaller sized theatre I really enjoyed the few hours I spent there, the seats are staggered on the first floor in front of the stage so no matter where you sit you don't have to worry about someones head blocking your view I sat in the back row in the isle seat, and could see the stage perfectly. I would recommend balcony seating if you're taller than 5'11 though, there's not much leg room for the main floor seats.

Great acoustics and sightlines in this intimate-feeling theater. We were warmly greeted and impressed with our first experience at Suzanne Roberts. The staging and actors were top-notch. The theater is in the heart of the Broad Street theater district, so it's an easy commute. Loved that they had a raffle to win part of the show's scenery, a kitschy wraparound sofa. We wish them continued success with their season.

A much smaller theater than I imagined. Remove your expectations, this is a no frills experience. Canned beer and bottled wine at a small bar. Candy snacks. Bathrooms are nice and the theater itself does the job. I wouldn’t avoid this place to see something, which is more than I can say for a few venues in the city.

Philadelphia Theatre Company is an absolute gem for theater lovers! 🌟 Whether you're a longtime fan of live performances or just dipping your toes into the world of theater, this is the place to be. The productions here are nothing short of stunning, with shows that are as diverse and dynamic as the city itself. 🎭

From thought-provoking dramas to heartwarming comedies, Philadelphia Theatre Company offers a variety of performances that cater to all tastes and ages. What I love most is the caliber of the productions. The performances are always top-notch, with actors delivering breathtaking, heartfelt portrayals that truly bring the story to life. 🌟 Recent hits like The Chinese Lady and A Strange Loop have wowed audiences, with their thought-provoking narratives and unforgettable performances. Each show leaves you thinking long after the curtain falls.

No matter your age, there’s something at PTC that will resonate with you. Whether you're a theater newbie or a seasoned show-goer, the experience is always magical. The intimate venue makes you feel connected to the performance, as if you’re a part of the story unfolding on stage. ✨

The staff is friendly and welcoming, making each visit feel like a special occasion. From the moment you step into the theater to the final bow, the Philadelphia Theatre Company delivers a cultural experience that’s not to be missed. If you’re in Philly, catch a show here—you won’t be...

Attended the afternoon performance today with the Philadelphia Gay Mens Chorus.. Elton John..Which was wonderful..Not,the first time being at this theater..Been there many times..My son was a dancer in the show, and I bought front row tickets for a better view and to take pictures.. Nothing I haven't done before..My complaint Before the show begins an announcement is made ..No video or sound video And,no flash photography ..Not,no taking pictures at all, just no flash photography.. Which means don't use your flash.. Nothing I haven't done in the past..Today my daughter and I were told to not take pictures..We weren't using the flash .. So,I suggest for the future say No pictures at all.. Make it easy to understand... I go to a lot of shows and concerts.I know the difference between no flash photography and taking pictures...

The only reason this isn't a 5 star review is that I have to leave room for service I didn't us (bar) due to time constraints.

Neither myself nor my aunt had ever been to this theater before. We both found it very well put together. It is a significantly more intimate theater than others in the area, but still very comfortable. Further, I doubt there's a bad seat in the house. We sat in the mezzanine level a few rows from the wall and still felt close to the stage to see everything. The theater itself looks updated and fresh; the seats were comfortable and clean while the walls looked new and modern (good for acoustics). What a great opportunity to see lesser known shows of various kinds without...
