I'm being forced to give a star, I would give "0". Their tacos are the "fake version" of real Mexican tacos. This place is an exploitation of the authentic Mexican cuisine with the purpose to profit. I traveled from far away and decided to try this place given that I missed Mexican food. I gave it a try but...I was even insulted. We placed one order of 3 tacos, each of them a different kind. We paid first. When we explained to the cook to serve 2 in one "plate" and 1 taco in another plate (or those little boxes...what a waste), he didn't get it. A second cook came and still, they didn't get it. We were speaking Spanish to the first guy, and I got mad when he told me "dímelo en inglés, lo entiendo mejor" (tell me in English, I would understand better). At this point both guys were bothered because we were all arguing.
The second cook threw the tortillas of the last taco while we were debating. It was insulting that this guy didn't want to speak his language with someone of his own kind. Shame on him who had "un nopal en la frente" (one who look so Mexican but refuses to be one). After trying the one fake taco, I finished the whole experience at this place by telling them how disrespected I felt, that it was an insult to my culture and my language and that they had a bad customer service. I will call the "so called manager", but I read in one of the comments that the manager was rude. All of you, who love this place, you are missing the real Mexican food. What a scam..."real tacos". Please, look online and see how real tacos al pastor are made. It's up to you to be fooled by this place. Avoid this sign:...
Read moreThis is my second time ordering, and the food has been constantly outstanding, and perfectly priced. The tacos at Tacodelphia are excellent. The barbacoa tacos take the top spot. Tacos are served on double corn tortillas (which are gluten-free), with your choice of sauce and topping. The al pastor tacos, carnitas, and other options are all served with a wonderfully balanced taste of flavors that service your appetite and palate well. If you’re hungry for tacos, look no further!
1st review… Delicious tacos are what you can expect at Tacodelphia. Three varieties were ordered: Short Rib Barbacoa with Guacamole Salsa, Al Pastor with Guacamole Salsa, and Carnitas with Guacamole Salsa. Each order of tacos is three (3) to an order. Every one of the above was delicious. The flavors and taste were all wonderful. Each was cooked perfectly. The Guacamole Salsa is a very light and flavorful topping. For those that like some heat with their Mexican, one of the several choices of hot sauce is delicately needed.
The packaging is environmentally friendly. But, even a quick 15 minute delivery leaves the tacos just above room temperature. My one gripe is that the tacos should’ve had at least 1/3 more meat in them. That’s an objective comparison to other Mexican restaurants with tacos. If the cost is the issue, add a $1 and make them filling, and fabulously tasting. If the quantity equates with the quality, I’d absolutely give Tacodelphia five stars. Until then, I’ll let my mouth water, and looking forward to...
Read moreWe looked around and tried to find a restaurant to eat but most of them were somehow not open today. Then finally we saw this restaurant open. For better for worse, we decided to grab anything to eat.
As soon as we opened the door, a gentleman was coming out and he said to us: oh, this is the best! So, my daughter ordered a three taco and a bottle of drink, altogether costed $13. I didn’t order anything because I had a big breakfast at home. But with 3 big quesadillas, even my hungry daughter said she was not able to finish them all. So I was offered to share a piece. Oh, the shell was crispy but the inside ingredients were so juicy, fresh and delicious! My daughter said: “I am glad all other restaurants are not open. Otherwise we would have missed this delicious meal!” And I couldn’t agree more!
And I loved the bright and neat settings of the restaurant.
We will definitely go back more often...
