Desert Palms Power Center — Attraction in Phoenix

I got to this spot specifically for the Walmart store. What an awesome place to go because it houses a little bit of everything that you can possibly think about for much less, that is except seasonings which one can find better deals at the Dollar Tree nearby.

None the less, I like the Spanish and Asian that houses foods one may have a hard time finding elsewhere. Being a forgeiner myself, from central America, it feels really good to see some familair items from home in the store, instead of having to wait for someone to travel to bring some.

I removed one star from this store however, for multiple reasons. The first being, that half the workers do not seem to speak or understand English. I do understand the neighborhood itself is highly latino populated, however, they must remember that Walmart has more than latinos and/ or hispanics shopping there. Everytime I have stopped to ask a question or find something the worker does not speak much English. Asa foreginer myself I am glad Walmart does hire people from other countries, however, it would be good if they can assist them in improving their English.

Another issue I do have is that they never have enough cashiers at the stations. with the flow of traffic this Walmart gets, that can be improved greatly by providing more cashiers for customers. Finally, my great issue personally is that they have these little bitty bags instead of bigger bags at the stations when folks are making large purchases. I do not drive nor can I always afford uber, so I take the bus. The least I'd like is for the shopping bags be placed near the cashier when I'm heading out. Half the time, they do not have the bags, and when they do it is never a the station I'm at and I have to wait for the cashier to go all the way down to the other side to get it. This is fixed by bringing a shopping bag, but half the time I forget..

Other than that, I give thumbs up for them always maintaining the cleanliness, stocking, as well as freshness of foods. Over all, it is still a great place to shop, and outside of Walmart there are plenty other...

Just want to say about home Depot I'm very disappointed it. For the prices of not right corrected on the shelf tag even they put the items on top of the shop with their barcode the price are different on the barcode shelf and items is on top of the show. I'm very disappointed of it they're not doing it correctly they're not put it on computers can to make it correctly to be on the price where they supposed to be doing. I showed you the picture on the barcode and picture what the item is on the shelf two different prices. Home Depot I'm very disappointed of you people are not doing your job right and not doing it correctly. You need to be more training on this and get it correct the right way on the price tag and items. If I go there one more time and scan on a cash register and the price is different on the shelf and cash register you're not doing your job right. I just hope everybody understand and see this and check the price on the shelf and the item that matched price on the shelf. Decent selection of stores & food establishments in the complex but there are always groups of day laborers in several areas of the parking lots during the week; there are also motorhomes/RV's parked over towards the Walmart section of the complex & will squat there for days, last time I walked from one of the bus stops to go to the Sketchers Outlet there was one of the Truck/Camper things with laundry spread all over the hood & doors & there was trash just tossed out on the ground. Between the 2 of these issues it makes me a bit apprehensive & annoyed by having to navigate past all these people & vehicles loitering around the lots even though there's signage posted prohibiting such, & these eye-sores right in front of the complex are a negative message being communicated to potential customers who may drive past these stores fearing potential theft/saftey issues. Otherwise the shopping center is generally clean & has security patrolling around, it's well lit everywhere & easy access...
