I was in the First Friday Glow With the Flow class and it was SUCH a disappointment. It was NOT as advertised. I was expecting a high energy, party type atmosphere. It wasn’t. There was no aerial and there was no yoga. The instructor, Paige talked through THE ENTIRE class. And it wasn’t even about yoga. It was about her day. The music was good, but she talked through and over every song!! My heart rate never got elevated even a little. I felt that I knew more and could do way more than she did. One girl in class was an INSTRUCTOR, and she was taking pics of me and my 2 girl friends because she was so impressed by what we could do. At the end, we asked if she could keep the curtains closed for photos, she said yes, but still opened them and was rushing everyone out. It was the worst class I’ve ever taken in my life and I want a refund. It was NOT aerial or yoga. It was NOT what was advertised. This was false advertising and it was NOT...
Read moreThis space was exactly what I needed for my event. I held a 15 person yoga class at Elevate Yoga & Wellness in the larger of their 2 studios and it was the perfect amount of space. I could probably fit 25 people the next time I have my class there.
The owners of the studio were very response and had very clear details for my rental. They communicated all of the necessary information to ensure that I had everything I needed on the day of my reservation.
Additionally, the lighting was perfect. The space the great lighting options: large windows with an abundance of natural light as well as the option to close the curtains and turn on spot lights or full room lighting. Furthermore, they provided 2 bathrooms, props and a water fountain for my guests to use.
Overall, this was a great first experience for renting and I plan to rent...
Read moreI have been going to Elevate for a few months now and I have to agree, it really is a community! I have not been to a class where the instructor is not warm, welcoming, and truly seems to have a an interest in our general well-being. They have added some new floor classes which I have not tried, but the aerial yoga and aerial silks classes are challenging and interesting.
Somethings I would like to see are more morning (6 am) classes, more “workshop” classes where there’s a focus on specific elements or skills (such as inversions, breath work, particular poses, etc), open workshops with an instructor on-hand but where we can work on our own skills.
Parking is ample and easy in the parking structure. They have several packages available and it’s not cheap but relatively competitive to other yoga studios for...
