I got my hair done by Sydney W. on 11/21/2018-She was amazing and super patient with me-I am trying to go from red to blonde and Sydney has been more than understanding of my goal. I know it will take us a while to get me where I want to be, but I am excited to have Sydney on my side during my hair journey. She is determined to get me to the end result and I trust her 100%. She was able to squeeze me into her schedule last minute AND on the day before thanksgiving! She was very professional at explaining every step to me as well as ensuring that I understood and was comfortable along the way. Aside from that, she is great at conversing,as I always have a lot to talk about, but she kept engaged in my conversation all while focusing on my hair as well. I purchased product from the salon as well, and Sydney only advised me of what I NEEDED as opposed to selling me something that would not be beneficial at all. The location of the salon is convenient as well, right in the heart of the Roosevelt art district in downtown Phoenix. Parking was not an issue as there is a parking garage in the rear and it was free! I was the last client of the day, and my appointment did not take as long as we had expected which was awesome!! Sydney even walked with me to the parking structure to make sure I made it to my vehicle safely since it was dark out! If you are looking for a stylist that is professional but also makes you feel like a friend, then Sydney is definitely your girl! I would recommend her time and time again. I have been going to Salon Ro5 since 2018 and Kristen Thomas is my stylist. I started her services after doing a ton of research. I am someone who can’t just show up as a walk in to find a random stylist. My hair is important and my stylist is in a long term relationship with me. Since my last stylist of 5 years wasn’t working out and I didn’t have referrals on where to do, I had to do research. I found Salon RO5 since they were downtown (close to my house) but looked clean and forward thinking. What I liked most is they provide information on each stylist, highlighting their areas of expertise and background. Kristen met my needs in what I was looking for in a stylist, so she was easy to contact for an initial consult. The salon is located in a great area, easy parking, with clean styling stations and a friendly receptionist. They are flexible with schedule changes and I love their bumble and bumble product offering. I have since moved to Scottsdale but am committed to Salon RO5 and Kristen. It’s worth the drive, price, and fresh stylish locks....

I made an appointment at this place for a man's haircut at 11 am, I had to wait for one week to get this appointment. I decided to arrive 5 minutes earlier on my appointment day, they told me to have a seat because the person who was going to cut my hair was busy, I waited until 11:15 so I left. I get a text around 5 minutes after I left, and then a call from the person who was supposed to cut my hair. He explained that the previous customer was late and that was the reason he couldn't see me until around 11:20, and that he was really sorry. Whats the point of making an appointment at a certain time if you're not going to get seen at that time? I don't doubt these people are good at doing hair, but the professionalism of a business starts at the little things, like making sure that your appointments get seen at the time they're scheduled.
