Yesterday I took my 3 grandchildren to see a movie that I had pre purchased tickets as their site suggested that the North Terre Harkins had replaced their regular theater seating to be requires that all harken seem to be doing. I paid extra for the tickets because buying the theater seats that are nice and sitting where you want to said is worth the price. Upon arrival I was told they were having computer system problems and it's open seating. I then and lightened them that my seats better be open because I had paid extra and expected his set where the children wanted. I then went to purchase popcorn and sodas. Was told that they couldn't give me my free popcorn because they had no proof that I was one of their frequent guests with the pre purchased card I by perseis and. After a length of disagreeable conversation they so kindly agreed to give me my popcorn and I said I wanted to up size it because there were 4 of us that was doable if I would pay cash which was not my intent common typically I use a credit card but I also had points would should have more than paid for my upgrade. I then ended up having to pay for my popcorn pay for my drinks and purchasing to churros and 1 pretzel ended up being charged $24. I have to say no matter how close that theater is I will never take my chill grandchildren there again. By the way they did not replace their seating to the nice recliners and so I was screwed on the price of my tickets. Take my advice...

DON’T GET ME WRONG, I love Harkins! My last two experiences at the Notera location (February 13 and 21) were awful! Each visit was ruined by loud school age teens and college students.

On 2/21 I went to go see, The Monkey. Several guests walked out that evening due to the ongoing talking, shouting, and vaping from the back row. By thirty minutes into the movie, my clothing was saturated by the smell of vapepens! One guest ran to the door to vomit. When I approached management, several workers agreed with me that things were getting out of control at their location. The manager who happily gave me a refund didn’t seemed phased by the other employees’ lack of professionalism. I was dumbfounded! It just goes to show that the employees and managers of the theater have ZERO control. This location really needs to work on the guest’s experience! Also, the theater was really dirty! You could tell no one cleaned in between several showings!

I usually go to the Camelview- Fashion Square, or Christown locations. I’ll continue to do so, but if those employees and managers share the same expectations for their theater, then I’ll switch over to AMC. It’s very sad to see the state of the theaters! I’ve been going to Harkins since the old days of their location on 51st Avenue...

My son and I are huge movie buffs and certainly see our fair share. We'd recently started going to AMC or other theaters because our local Harkins has gone down hill. The other night, we decided to catch a flick. It was pretty late in the evening, and Harkins Norterra was the only theater with our movie still playing. It was a bit of a drive, but we were both very impressed. We arrived partially into the previews for the last showing, but they were still very nice. We accidentally brought last year's Harkins cup, but they honored a $1.50 refill anyway. My son went to get it and commented on how "friendly" they were with him. My son has Aspergers and like all of us, he thrives around people that put him at ease. Much appreciated! Lately, the theaters we've gone to late at night "quit serving concessions" due to being close to closing time. I get very annoyed by this poor customer service. This theater was fantastic on that as well. The theater is pretty new and beautiful. Very clean and comfortable. Well worth the...

I'm a huge fan of Harkins but my most recent trip here was meh. I dont think they're used to having patrons just yet. The entire place was empty. I'll give them a pass on being out of (almost) everything due to the current supply chain environment but I would hope the things they did have would be well executed. The popcorn was cold and while the pretzel was served piping hot, the cheese sauce was mediocre at best. Oddly enough they give you the cheese sauce first and then you wait for the pretzel so while you're waiting the cheese sauce is cooling down and starting to congeal - not ideal. One thing I'm a huge fan of is being able to buy your tickets online and choose your seats although beware this place hasn't been renovated to the new style of Harkins and they still have the rocker chairs. I'll still frequent Harkins but probably going to avoid this and go to Arrowhead Fountains 18.

I didn't realize that there is $6 surcharge to buy tickets online. I was seeing a movie at 10:30 so online ordering was pointless. I figured they could help me out when I arrived to the theater, they didn't. "You have to contact corporate office" was the response. Wasted six bucks... Then I get to the empty theatre, and it a bit run down. The seats smell like dust and are very uncomfortable. The seats kept swallowing my 3 year old kid. His little feet would fly up if he moved to far back. So we spent 1.5 hours holding down his seat. Lastly the theatre was hot and stuffy. We bought sweaters because the theater is normally chilly (the way it's supposed to be). With all this COVID around you think they would want a well ventilated environment.

Nice, clean movie theater. Staff were friendly. We interacted with the manager( just a question) and they were professional, knowledgeable and helpful. The concession stand and surrounding areas was clean. The employees were helpful with drinks and snacks. We booked the tickets online and that is the way to go-no lines! The theater was nice and cold inside-wonderful since it was 110 degrees outside. Felt very safe inside the theater as we saw the manager come in and make a sweep of the theater. We went on a Monday night after opening weekend and the theater was wide open with seats. We saw Nobody 2 and it was funny, especially for a sequel. Really enjoyed our date night!
