I went on this tour with my family last night - I used to give ghost tours, and I always enjoy seeing other ghost tours, and I thought this would be a neat way to see the city. I was fighting for my life by the time we left the tour. It was advertised as being an hour over a mile's walking distance, and we paid for the extended tour, which was advertised as being half an hour with an additional half a mile's walking distance. We had to cut the whole experience short because by that point we had been on the tour for three and a half hours and walked four miles. Our guide averaged twenty minutes a stop with the longest stories bogged down in details that had nothing to do with ghosts or true crime. He was extremely rude and kept acting like we were idiots for not knowing more about Phoenix even though we had all established early on in the tour that we were tourists; equally, he seemed annoyed when we began flagging two hours into the hour and a half tour.
Between stops, the guide walked at the speed of light and left the rest of us to run after him. My family are healthy twenty-somethings and we were limping by the end of the tour.
The guide noted multiple times that tips are appreciated. Tours that don't go two hours over are also appreciated.
I rarely leave bad reviews like this but the experience was so unpleasant I hope other people see this before they book. Not on my worst night would I have treated one of my tour...
Read moreI was pretty disappointed with this tour. While our tour guide was communicative they were late to our tour because he “left his wallet at a party he was just at”. We started to walk around and I quickly realized how scripted this tour was going to be. You did not hear any excitement behind the guides voice or the tour we were about to go on. There were many times it felt like he was reading from a script and often had to stop and restart what he was saying. It didn’t feel personable. I did my own research after the tour and was unable to find much support if any regarding the places we stopped at which was a bummer because I always like to do more research after tours like this. I have been on tours before in different states and locations and would not recommend this tour company in Phoenix if you are looking for an authentic experience. I could have easy walked around myself and done the same thing they did but with...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a ghost tour that’s not only informative but also incredibly fun, look no further than the ghost tour in Phoenix! From the moment we arrived, Marley made us feel welcome with her warm personality and infectious energy. She struck the perfect balance between spooky storytelling and light-hearted humor — and yes, she was in great spirits (pun absolutely intended!).
Her knowledge of local history and paranormal lore was impressive, and she brought each story to life in a way that was both entertaining and chilling. What really stood out, though, was how personable she was — it felt less like a scripted tour and more like a great conversation with a passionate friend who just happens to know a lot about ghosts.
Whether you’re a skeptic or a believer, this tour is a must-do in Phoenix. Marley’s charisma, professionalism, and clear love for what she does made the experience truly unforgettable....
