2nd review (update). Still the best gym ever. The recovery room makes a huge difference for me. I wish I could give a second review or 10 stars. Gym staff is awesome. New shout out of thanks to Harold and Daniel for your friendly smiles and service. I look forward to my mornings at the gym. First review…I have been here 1 month and I really like the friendliness of the staff, the location, vibe, clean environment. One of the managers, Matt, has been the best. He is responsive, readily available, and helpful. I really like the boxing/kickboxing professional coaches. I also recommend my personal trainer, Reginald (Reggie), with 20+ years experience. I have past injuries but I still get a tough workout with proper technique so I don’t hurt myself. In general I noticed that the trainers are really focused on their clients (not looking around). I love the recovery room, especially the cryo; muscle recovery is faster and less painful for me. On another note, I have seen reviews about the weight area being too busy but I have had good experiences with friendly members that allowed me to work in with them. It’s only been a month but this is unlike other gyms where I feel like a no named member. I feel like I found my tribe and the personal experience makes me look forward to going to the gym.

I’m not sure how some reviews say this gym is clean and well-maintained. I don’t know if they’re going to a different location, but here are photos from today—April 11, 2025—that clearly show the actual condition of the facility. Many machines are in poor condition, with torn and damaged seats that cause skin irritation. The pulleys are broken or faulty—today I injured my finger and ended up bleeding after it got pinched while adjusting one of them. There is also a noticeable lack of sanitizer in key areas, and the general cleanliness is declining. I want to make it very clear: the staff here is kind, friendly, and always willing to help. The lady in charge of cleaning is constantly working and doing her best, but she simply can’t be expected to handle all of this on her own. The rest of the team is great, but it's not their responsibility to repair or maintain the machines—that should be handled through proper supervision from management or the franchise. The problem isn’t the employees—it’s the lack of proper oversight. A gym of this size and reputation should have regular monitoring and maintenance of equipment and cleanliness, especially considering the monthly fees members pay.

Overall a good place. Large space with many equipments, in good shape. Bathroom and sauna are fairly clean and in good condition. Plenty of classes. However the front desk staff is not particularly nice and sometimes rude. However the plus if you are a parent: they have a daycare. Now I must give some warning. It is not a “proper daycare” with trained staff. It’s a room with toys and an adult somewhat supervising. I would not recommend letting your little one in there. Why? I have seen the staff letting a baby on the desk, without supervision. That baby could have crawled away and felt, luckily it did not move. I have also seen small pieces from toys that small ones could choke on. The staff looking after children is nice, BUT they are NOT trained professionals. Overall we are having a fair experience with UFC FIT.

Long story short: this is a social media BS gym. I prepaid for 3 years and regret it—poor maintenance, unpleasant crowds, and indifferent attitude from staff.

My membership was supposed to include towel service and other perks that were cut within the first 6 months without explanation, compensation, or any gesture of goodwill. Now they don't even have paper towels in their dispensers. The machines are all ripped up and falling apart. They don't have barbell collars/clamps and their most of their cable accessories are all torn up or missing. Spin bikes are the old style Schwinns which are terrible. They have nice treadmills and steppers but doing cardio sucks here because the lighting is AWFUL. They use these extremely bright LED halos with no diffuser or shade. They shine right in your line of sight so they burn into your retinas unless you squint or look down the whole time.

Peak hours here are a nightmare. You can't even get on a machine. People have tripods set up everywhere, people just sit on machines staring at their phones without caring that other people would like to work in, and there's very little awareness for courtesy or consideration of other gymgoers. They only have one machine for each type of exercise, and though they have 4 squat racks, there's always someone filming themselves doing pull-ups in them, doing pushups and burpees on the platform, or having their tripod set up with their friend sitting there on the neighboring platform ("We're using it").

The showers and locker rooms were in a disgusting state for almost a whole year until summer 2025. People would be doing calisthenics and boxing in the sauna and it reeked in there. Dirty clothes were left in lockers for days. Shower grout was caked in orange mildew, walls and doors had large spots of black mold growing, and there would be the same wads of hair, band-aids, or forgotten soaps/toiletries on the floor. The cleaning people just sprayed air freshener and never actually cleaned anything. They finally addressed it after months of disregard. However, the showers still have a problem with drain flies. Some of the shower valves also have cold water lines that can suddenly hammer shut and scald you if you're not careful. The handicapped-accessible shower stall is always trashed, but that's more of a construction issue than a staffing/maintenance one. Speaking of construction, the building has only been up for 4 years, but there have been a LOT of leaks. Very common to see buckets and trash cans out for something leaking out of the ceiling. I would never want to live in the apartments above the gym. Parking is really bad, especially on Fridays and weekends. Though the building is new, the parking garage is 40 years old with spaces marked out for 80s econobox cars, not the huge cars and SUVs that everyone has these days.

The one good part about this gym is coming to it in the middle of the night when it's empty. But you have to take a risk because if you get hurt or you get locked out of your locker, you're screwed.

If you have any issues or concerns with anything about your membership or the gym, good luck. There are no published email addresses nor phone numbers for anyone up the responsibility chain if you have a problem. People at the front desk don't elevate your concerns to anyone above them. There's no way to contact and get a response from anyone at the gym except for through their Instagram page. Nobody follows up on anything unless you hunt down people via DMs.

Based on my experience, being prepaid at this place seems like the worst thing you can do. Staff only care about signing up new people and you're treated like a ghost unless you're buddy-buddy with them or an Instagram content queen that they bring in for exposure.

I've not had an interaction with anyone here that made me feel valued or human. Just a number. They will spam your phone or even follow you into the bathroom (yes, super weird and inappropriate) to hard sell you their personal training or to renew your membership, but they don't even say hello when...

I have a fun story. One of my friends purchased a membership here way before the place opened. After he purchased his membership, UFC stated the doors would be open in less than 3 weeks. It has been 4 months since then and they are still not open. He hasn’t received a single notice as to when they will be open, nor has he received a call or email back after he tried to contact them on 7 different occasions. He is currently paying 80$ monthly for the ultimate membership even though they aren’t even open. When he first signed up he had to pay for his first month, his last month and a new member fee which in total costed about 250$. I found it strange that nobody responded to his email or phone calls so I decided to send an message from a different email address posing as a new customer asking to purchase a new membership (this was a test). I received a call back in less than an hour. I found that to be a little fishy, but I wanted to make sure that it wasn’t just a coincidence. Me and my friend did a little experiment to find out the truth. We both made a new email account and we each sent an email at the EXACT same time with two very different questions. The first email we sent was a message asking to sign up as a new member (this was the email that I created). In the other email, the message was asking when they will be opening and how to cancel my current membership (my friend sent this email). Both emails we sent had our phone numbers on it to contact us. Can you guess what happened next………? Within a couple of hours I received a call from someone at UFC fit. The man tried to sell me a membership and even offered to call me back at a different time after I told him I wanted to think about it before I spend my money. My friend never received anything back from the other message. Currently I am a member at UFC fit Pembroke Pines and I have to admit that the gym has everything you can wish for, but this bothers me. Trust means a lot to me and For this reason I decided to cancel my membership today and so did my friend. If UFC fit is reading this review, this should bother you guys. I’m not expecting a response to this review considering that I’m not asking for a new new membership. Its obvious that having bad customer service doesn’t bother you guys, but just understand that you guys will loose money in the long run this way. It’s unfortunate because the front desk staff members and trainers are amazing and helpful but this is wrong on managements part. I suggest you start responding to your reviews because you guys have 2.2 stars before you guys have even opened your doors. Please...

( POSTING FROM MY BOYFRIENDS ACCOUNT) This franchise has been an absolute nightmare to work with and I hope this review helps anyone thinking of signing up to RETHINK THEIR DECISION. I signed up for this gym back in June. My boyfriend and I both paid upfront for our start up and gym member fees, and I also paid upfront for a Cryo Therapy package that they offered me. We were told then, that the gym would be opening August 1st. When end of August came around, I started reaching out via DM with questions as to when the gym would be opening. They then said October was the new date due to permit issues. This was frustrating, but I completely understood that things happen and it wasn't worth getting upset about. Once middle of October came around, I asked AGAIN for an update which I then got a response that we would be getting daily updates soon. Once November came around and not a SINGLE update was given to any members, I wrote and let them know how frustrated I was. They then would read my messages through DM, and not respond. I could see that others were having the same issue on their instagram posts, and anytime they would comment their frustration, this franchise would DELETE their comments! I know this, because I did this myself. I would comment that this company took my money in June, and have failed to give any updates. This is when I emailed HR and I emailed Corporate. I found out that their GM ( Johnny) was no longer was working with them, so I was contacted by a new general Manager. After going back and forth, they finally mailed me refund checks for the money I paid, because after this HORRIFIC customer service, I don't care how nice the gym is, I will definitely not be giving them my business. Well GUESS WHAT... the check comes, and it's the wrong name. Should I be surprised by this unprofessional Location? No. Now Im waiting for an answer from the new general Manager as to where my money Is. They are STILL deleting peoples comments on Instagram when they ask when their opening, and when they show frustration about exactly what I did. There has also still ( Jan 26th) been NO update with an open date. I have never in my life witnessed worst customer service than I have with this location. I am NEVER one to write reviews either. I hope this message can help anyone else thinking of even giving them their business to rethink their...
