I'm not sure why I'm getting your recommendation to review the entire plaza, my visit was to Nations. But since this is specifically for the plaza here is my thoughts: as far as my personal liking, I think this place needs some lights in the middle, sure it's in a really great area generally considered safe, however there is a Happy endings spa, with spas, in this location and my personal opinion of those is that they contain some of the less desirable folks of our culture and the late night hours mixed with the dark mixed with maybe a ending that wasn't so happy could be to a very unfortunate and unsafe situation for a young girl like myself I'm not speculating anything of the sort nor have I had any encounters such as this, however I am just offering my thoughts because you asked and because I tend to think outside the box therefore when I go to this location it's definitely on my mind to be on higher alert. I suppose the fact that there are always quite a few pleasant Hill PD cars at Starbucks and Nations must make most people feel just fine. But they are not there all the time and this plaza is quite closed in with one way in and one way out type of setup unless you go to the farthest end which is pretty dark as well, but nonetheless not exactly user friendly. Anyway this parking lot tends to be littered with free-loading trash quite often, the trash cans themselves that are scattered throughout our generally full and the overall access that flies around gets trapped because of the shape of it further making it appear unkept. Very unlike pleasant Hill LOL who knows maybe somebody will read this and pay more attention! The Safeway inside here is okay I have never had a friendly experience to say the least but that said it's never been awful just never left me with a feeling of consideration when we are another . But don't bother asking for help here because it will take forever and most likely never come that I will say....
Read moreI used to spend a LOT of time in this plaza. Early 20s found me playing pool and eating popcorn at Farrington's on many-a-night. I occasionally even walked back home to my parent's if I couldn't find a ride. It wasn't far from home.
While I still stop at Farr's from time to time, most visits here now are to Taqueria Los Gallos Express. Taco Tuesday here is a treat! They have the best salsa bar in CCC. They are hidden in the back by Safeway and Subway and a Thai restaurant. The Beauty Source used to be in this corner too but recently expanded to a bigger location.
An awesome, cash-only breakfast discovery is Plaza Cafe hidden in the front near Nation's and a Diamond Store. Their hollandaise sauce is amazing and they make a delicious homemade breakfast gravy.
Chase Bank (my husband's bank) is in another part of the plaza with a dental group and nail place. Insurance companies, frozen yogurt, and realty. Even a shoe store, hair salon, and trophy store! They really have it all. Next time you're in downtown Peasant Hill, stop in this Plaza, across from the Crescent Plaza...
Read moreAlmost every time I come to visit my mom I end up at this strip mall. Lots of good food. Nation's with their delicious burgers, great value breakfast options and the amazing pies.. You can stop anytime and have something good to eat. There is one of my favorite breakfast places Plaza Cafe (which is on my list Breakfast in the P Hill). Another favorite is the Mexican food restaurant. I've been to Matsu Sushi many times and like it. On my recent visit I went to all of the above places in the week I was there. There's also a Boba place and a bar, Farrington's that I've never tried. The Starbucks is good and can get busy. Also there's a Chase Bank & a Union Bank. A trophy store. The Safeway is decent size and I've shopped there. Ther are a few more businesses that I've never been to. But this is a pretty good strip mall. You can check off a few errands in one...
