Loved seeing the boats being hancrafted in various stages. So grateful that they are teaching ship building using beautiful mahogany! A delight to see!

This is a boat shop operated by the Port Aransas Historical Society. It is a real boat shop where volunteers build actual "Farley" boats (a style of boats popular for over 100 years in Port A). The people there will help you build a boat if you've got 6 months and about 25,000. A good experience seeing how they do it. They are very knowledgeable and well worth the visit. Spend an hour talking to them and you will...
