4pm on a Saturday. There are only 2 other groups of people eating inside. No one at the drive through. I get it, it's slow. There must have been some good gossip going on in back as I had to go looking for someone to take my order. For $15/hr you can work here. Apparently they don't ask for too much.

Even though it was short staffed, the drive through with 5 cars went pretty fast, and our orders were delicious. BUT, we didn't receive the right sizes of our blizzards, and although its summer, the blizzards melted fast.

When ordering something extra meanings to double up on that item. I ordered extra cheese, didn't receive it and got charged for it. Not very happy about this and contacted management.

-2018 Good Lord this place deserves a rusty trophy for the level of terrible customer service they have achieced. We ordered our food at 8:30 at immidiately after my sister and brother-in-law. My sister's food arrived at 8:45ish, and our food didn't arrive at the table until 9:10 while we were discussing getting a refund and leacing since the rest of the family was done eating and ready to leave. When we asked the gentleman who brought us our food, he lied and told us "all those people were in front of you" gesturing to the people who had walked in after us. We reminded him that that can't be true, because we ordered immidiately following my sister's order, which was consumed. The jerk rolled his eyes at my dad and said "don't know what to tell ya- who had the steak fingers?" Now, I can speak from experience that being rude to my dad is a bad strategy, especially from a customer service perspective. So, we were missing a burger at this point, and it was my dad's, so he had to summon the manager to negotiate a refund because we didn't feel like another 45 minutes of sitting in a rundown dq when we could be out fishing... My poor little brother had to beg for his ice cream because they couldn't even get that out to us after being reminded about it. -2017 I think they must be under new management, because my whole family recieved extremely pleasant service here. The staff were enthusiastic, energetic, and eager to please. They were quick to fix all of our problems, and even made my dad's burger upside down because he's ridiculous and likes to relive the olden days when the meat was on the top bun. The staff regularly asked if we were doing okay and even the trainee was very helpful and apologetic when he didn't know what to do. My dad even commented on one employee specifically and said "I wish I could get him to come work for me, I like...

We have visited the Port Aransas Dairy Queen every Wednesday night for a month now, and every Wednesday we come in, we have encountered the manager there, and we have observed him working right along with the other team members. He is constantly on the go, cleaning, or taking orders. He is such a nice gentleman! So kind, always with a smile. Last night when we went, we met a new guy! He said he was the manager there, and I laughed and said you certainly don’t look like the other manager that we always see there. He welcomed us, and told us that Wednesdays are usually his day off. People are always SO quick to let you know of your failings, and what goes wrong, but they never take the time to write the words AWESOME JOB!! Jose A C is WHO you want as the face of your business!! Such a pleasure to meet him! Professional, but with a Personality! We watched him treat every customer that came in, with the same personality!! I wish you could see him interact with your customers, as it’s something to behold! As a corporation, I would think you would want to clone Both of these Managers, because they are running the front of your house the right way!! They are a true asset to the Port Aransas Dairy Queen!! Thank you Gentlemen for making our Oreo Cookie Blizzard stop such a Wonderful experience each...

Worse service ever, I hadn’t visited this location in a while because of bad service. Here I go again to try them out and once again I get the wrong order. I have worked the food industry for many years and the #1 thing they coach us on is customer service and attention to detail. This location always fails to give me the correct order. They repeat it correctly but from kitchen to customer never fails they drop the ball. After calling to express my concern to the employee over the phone, the comment back is will can you come back. We take the time to leave our jobs, place an order and expect to receive great customer service and the correct order. I don’t work for DQ so I shouldn’t be working hard to get a correct order, that is their job. I’m told to come back, take time from my lunch hour to fix their mistake. How does someone enjoy a lunch hour with businesses that don’t care about their customers time. I suggest don’t visit this location sad that some people don’t have a choice and will probably be force to eat something they didn’t order since they can’t drive back and waist their valuable time that is apparently not important to the DQ...
