Pope Marine Park — Attraction in Port Townsend

This is a pleasant waterfront park next to Northwest Maritime Center. Great place to take a book or get some fresh air. Probably good for kids or playing your acoustic instrument. If you would like a break from window shopping, this is the place. I say that because we found the shops in Port Townsend to be worth two or three hours of visiting, such variety! so nicely themed. Waterfront park with amazing views all around. Surrounded by the historic buildings of Port Townsend, filled with varied shopping and swanky eateries.
