Went to see “Always Patsy” at the Key City Public Theatre. In a word FABULOUS!
Director Denise Winter, squeezed Ted Swindley’s production into Port Townsend’s intimate little theater in the North end of town. It was Standing Room Only audience for reopening event for the theatre.
Aba Kinser’s portrayal of Patsy Cline is outstanding. She has an amazing voice and it was easy to imagine that Patsy, herself, was on the stage.
Michelle Hensel plays the part of Louise, Patsy’s undying fan and sidekick. Linda Dowdell’s band provides the music the makes it all come together with renditions of “Walking after midnight” , and, of course “Crazy”
Really great entertainment, really well performed. Go see it while you can
