Nice enough campground, no trees and very little grass but plenty of spots to choose from. All spots are close to the water and will give good views. The town was surprisingly really nice with good restaurants and shopping within walking distance. Bathrooms/showers were very nice and clean and also secured with a locked door accesed by a code given to you upon registration. Our only complaint, we reserved/checked in after hours (5:30 pm?) so it had to be done online as nobody was working the office. This is all fine and dandy except we weren't given a bathroom/shower code in our confirmation email. We have traveled/camped all across the country and this is the most expensive spot we had ever reserved. Because of that, I am not about to settle for no bathroom and shower. The confirmation email had a number we could call if there are questions, so we called and it rang for a long time and ended up going to a machine. We were also able to respond to the email but didn't get a response (until the next day). So, we ended up knocking on the door and asking the camp host, even though he was off duty. He was incredibly rude about the whole situation, but gave us what we asked for. Sorry dude, you are in charge, it's not a major inconvenience, don't be a jerk. This place would get 5 ⭐'s for sure if the registration process would be smoother and the host was...

Place is a joke, individuals running the office and the camp host have no idea what’s going on, they will lie to your face, tell you one thing then you get a different answer the next time, won’t answer phone, I emailed them multiple times along with the commissioners received email back from commissioner with no feedback and when I finally got a email from the RV park they gave me a different story and asked me to call so they could accommodate my stay but didn’t have anything available for my dates. What started all the problems was we had a wedding and needed multiple spots, when i visited the office a year before our dates they said no reservations could be made until the following January and you had to call the reservation line, when our group tried making reservations on the date they told us the site was not working and non of us got a spot. After talking to someone they said most spots were booked prior to January and I was told you couldn’t make reservations prior to January. When I talked to the camp host he also said to me good luck on getting a place. I believe someone is filling with the reservation book and probably getting benefits...

So, if you're looking for a place to go camping, in my opinion this is not it. If you're looking for a place to go glamping, this is an excellent spot! We spent this Thanksgiving weekend at the Point Hudson RV and Marina and enjoy ourselves thoroughly. Of course, Thanksgiving weekend means football and with just a simple request you can garner a coax cable from the office and enjoy a very good selection of all types of TV. There are two restaurants and a cafe on site and from what we sampled, it was excellent fare. We had four different RV spots for multiple families and it was really awesome to be able to just walk downtown and do a bit of shopping and have a meal. I took my bike and there is some really awesome bike riding in Port Townsend, providing you're not allergic to hills. The scenery is fantastic at this location! It can get a bit windy, but we lucked out and had almost a full weekend of cold, but mostly dry and placid weather. Level spots that were easy to enter in exit and all the hookups were in great shape. Give it a try, I'm sure you...

Our very favorite place to RV camp! We bring our electric bikes to ride everywhere. Walk or ride your bikes right into town from our campsite. Restaurants are right there and our favorite coffee shop "Velocity". Everything is right there to walk to or bike as they have a nice bike lane in town. Can't say enough about this place. We come here every year with our kids and grandkids. Bring your lawn chairs and plant them on the beach right in front of our RV site. Bring your binoculars to watch the cruise ships, ferries, and boats making there way across the water. We even take our bikes on the ferry here in Port Townsend to Whidby Island to explore. It's so fun and just a short ferry ride. This place is perfect and a little heaven on earth!!
