We stayed the night in Port Townsend- it is a beautiful town, amazingly friendly people but the highlight of our first night was the Soda Fountain! We happened across this gem accidentally while walking around town and we could not have picked a better place for dinner if we tried. The 50’s diner theme definitely passed the vibe check and was a hit with the kids. We had to order milkshakes for course- and it lol we just thought of and so delicious. (I want to go back for more just thinking about it). Then came the food. The fried shrimp was so good that even my 4 yr old nuggies and fries only kid cleared the plate. The halibut was delicious and the stripped clams was on of the best my husband had in a long time! Then came dessert. We swore we were full but just had to try the fried ice cream. Well I would happily pay the price for over eating because the butter scotch was worth it! My husband had the sugar free ice cream wand he wished he could eat seconds! I left the best for last: our waiter Fabian! He was so efficient it was like magic. Like we just thought of fried ice cream and boom her was there! And he was so nice to our family. His kindness to our (big) family will remain a highlight :) Incase it didn’t make it though : 10 stars definitely recommend.

Overall Rating - 7.67 🍜Food - 7/10 - The burger was very standard, the patty could have used a little salt. The amount of fries was a bit disappointing considering the price. - The blackberry milkshake was delicious, it definitely could have used some whipped cream. - The cherry phosphate was good the syrup was a little too artificially. But a very generous serving. 👩🦼➡️Accessibility - 8/10 - Pretty physically accessible, the counter seating is not very accessible but the booths are. - Sensory wise the music could be loud for some and there is some neon lights and lots of pictures on the wall. 🧑🍳Service - 9/10 - Very standard, nothing bad. 🍽️Ambiance - 8/10 - Very 50’s diner ambiance sadly the juke boxes don’t work. 🚗Parking - 8/10 - There is street parking available as well as parking lots on each end of the block. 💵Price - 6/10 - I personally think it is a bit over priced considering the standard-ness of the food.

Stopped in for a shake and onion rings with my daughter. The shakes were great but a bit pricey for the amount you get. It was $7.50 for about 16oz. The onion rings were as expected. Service was prompt and polite. I would have given a five star review, but I had a minor panic attack when I saw that they don’t take many forms of payment and they really only want cash. No Apple Pay, no tap, etc. sign said they only take Visa, but it turned out they also take Mastercard debit cards so I didn’t have to wash dishes;) The vibe is great. We even saw a couple sneaking in a quick photo shoot. All in all. I’d go back.

This place is like a blast from the past. The only reason why I didn't rate 5 stars is that the jukebox is broken and I had promised the kids their could pump quarters into it. (Sign on the machine says it's being repaired.) The kids had chicken strips and hamburgers but I had heard the shrimp tacos were good so I gave them a try. Yummo! The spicy chipotle cream sauce set them apart from other tacos and the salsa cruda was delicious. I'll definitely order the tacos again. We topped off our meals with perfect one scoop sundaes, which were generous portions but not overwhelming. We'll definitely be back.

Classic small town style with 50's flair. Nothing like taking a break and stepping back in time. We stopped in mid afternoon and the place was busy, but we were able to easily grab a booth. Our server was super nice and had water out to the table quickly. We tried the Nifty Burger and the Deluxe. One with onion rings and the other with fries. The food was out quick. The burgers were pretty much 50's style basic, and we found the onion rings and fries very tasty. The music playing matched the era, and prices were about normal in the 2020's. A worthy stop off for a quick bite!

Great little 50's style dinner. Great milk shakes, vegetarian options, little pricey, but great experience.
