Super Burrito Express — Restaurant in Portland

I've eaten at a super burrito Express before just don't think it was this one, and it was a great experience. This time, the cook felt intimidating punching his fist into his open hand. Then the lady who took my order was short with me. I felt awkward just trying to order, when it came time to pay the total was $6.60, I put down a 5 and 2 one dollar Bill's that were a little stuck together. But at first glance at the stack of Bill's without picking up the cash at all to verify I had the correct amount proceeded to ask me for 60 more cents. I certainly won't be back to this location again with that experience. Way too much to question for employees that make me feel bad just for giving their place of employment...

I have been eating here all my life, since I was a little kid. I have found myself to be completely addicted to their cheesy french fries, and their burritos are nice and packed, despite the lack of flavorful seasonings in the meat.

Their tacos are good, and their Asada is the best meat option on the menu. The employees are very kind, and very warm especially towards regular customers such as myself.

They even gave me a free 30$ meal, when I ordered it all only to find I had left my debit card at home. They knew I usually fed my family too, so they gave it to me with a smile, FOR FREE.

Got the chicken burrito. Huge and lots of chicken inside, but my reaction on tasting it was, "Mexico by way of Norway." Bland, could have been any anonymous mix of chicken and vegetables in an unflavored cornstarch roux. Guys, you can't just wrap stuff in a tortilla and call it Mexican. No Mexican flavors at all - no lime, cilantro, pepper, just a bland chicken stew. I mean, it was pretty good chicken stew, but that's all it was - chicken stew in a tortilla. I'll give them another chance (they have a Bavarian cream filled churro, which now that I think about it makes perfect sense), but I was expecting something a lot more flavorful...
