EDIT: I have recently been continuing my lip filler dissolving journey and with Fresh Face's new method of injecting the dissolver alongside with a numbing agent mixed in. Normally getting filler dissolved has been one of the most painful procedures i have ever received, and i've obviously gotten lip filler, various lasers, and tattoos. There would be instant tears like a million bees were stinging me and the tears were involuntarily just coming down. With Dr JoDee's method not only did it not have the crazy stinging it normally does, she was able to do it in one poke!! Unheard of. Dr JoDee is very knowledgable and personable, she made the experience feel so comfortable. It is also reassuring that she is dedicated to her customers leaving happy and having the least discomfort possible. I know that she has the patience to see me until the results are what i am looking for. Definitely going to continue going to her as someone i can trust with my face!!

ORIGINAL: I have been back to fresh faces for botox a few times now. I have had good service for the most part and effective botox injections. It was a surprise during my last visit that the pricing tiers had changed, i felt this could have been more clearly communicated, perhaps verbally discussed in the appointment or posted somewhere easy to reference.

I did have an injector that left something to be desired.. I have been on a lip dissolving journey after getting some mildly botched filler that additionally migrated. i got dissolving done HERE. My injector looks at my chart and reads out loud that i've gotten filler dissolved at fresh faces and am on a dissolving journey. I kid you not, not a moment later, she is looking at my face and asks Have you ever considered filler [in your lips?]? MY GOD. Lady, you literally just read details about how i am getting it dissolved and it says in my chart im on a dissolving journey. Not to mention it feels a bit insulting? Are my lips really so bad as is? This was the first time i bruised after an appointment as well.

On one of my previous appointments where i was getting the dissolving done, the injector was arguing with me that i couldn't possibly still have filler after almost 2 years and Where the heck did i read that filler doesn't dissolve? as if i needed to site my sources. She acted like she was humoring me by injecting despite not believing me. Well, it burned the entire time which clearly indicates presence of filler. She figured out she was wrong pretty quick but arguing with me about it felt unnecessary.

EDIT: I'm grateful to Dr. Jodee for reaching out to me privately after reading my review. She took my feedback seriously and has addressed all my issues. My problematic injector is no longer present at this business due to unrelated reasons and there won't be any more unpleasant surprises price wise! It's really nice to go somewhere where your concerns are heard and the owner directly communicates with you. Things were more than made right....

I went here to get my masseter muscles injected with Botox for TMJ/TMD release. I went to another medspa in the area for this once before and was underwhelmed by the service so I wanted to try somewhere new and I am so glad I did!

Their website does not always have the most updated times so I recommend booking via the phone if possible. I went to see Dr. JoDee, and when I arrived there was no extra paperwork to fill out. I was able to do it all online via email ahead of time.

The entrance does have a short flight of stairs up to it, and the waiting area is small but cozy. Masks still required (which for me is a bonus). Free masks provided if you don't have one.

Botox is priced on a sliding scale, which is less expensive than others in the area. Depending on how many units you get you may pay as low as $11/unit. That's basically like getting a Black Friday deal year round! See photo of price list if you want more of an idea of typical costs.

The doctor was very kind, prompt and happy to explain the process ahead of time. Previously I had gotten the equivalent of 25 units of Botox, but in Dysport, in each side of my jaw with 3 injections. She was happy to explain that based on recent studies and experience that the most efficacious method was to do a single injection on each side with a large dose. She is very experienced with this method and does it at least 5 times a week, and has always seen results for clients. I had no idea that, for example, because Dysport spreads there is a chance doing multiple injections could impact my smile! She really cares about patients getting results, not on upselling.
