For those who have never seen such things? They are a shop with fascinating oddities and awesome reminders of your haunting trip to purchase around every corner. 👻🖤👻To those regularly drawn to the strange and unusual? They are an intriguing and alluring place you will likely want to take home decor tips from.🖤🪦🖤 Fascinating items and Occult mysteries everywhere the eye can see! Today was the soft opening of their museum and no spoilers here... I've been made aware they will be offering even more. You can tell the owners of this establishment truly love the Strange and Unusual and they are more than happy to take a moment to tell you about anything you may have questions on🖤🖤 🖤 Truly a delight and really excited to see what they add over the coming...

I'm new to Portland and I totally came across this place by accident after a successful job interview on December 11. I'm hopelessly a Scorpio and I love this kind of stuff! The gift shop was very interesting and I told the cashier the music was great; turns out it was her playlist.

The museum itself was fascinating but my favorite part was meeting Samantha the haunted doll. As I was nearing the exit near the Ouija boards, I heard her ring her bell for me. I knew it was for me as I was the only one left checking things out. I went and saw her and told her I was leaving and she rang her bell for me right then to say goodbye to me. For anyone wondering, I didn't get any bad vibes from her. I'll definitely come back and visit again at some...

I recently had the opportunity to visit The Skeleton Key Odditorium, drawn in by its fascinating promise as a museum of curious oddities. It certainly delivers on its unique theme, although I personally found the experience slightly less engaging than I had hoped. It reminds me of 'Paxon Gate' in ambiance, albeit with a more pronounced focus on darker themes. The admission price of $13 seemed a bit high, particularly considering the absence of interactive displays. Additionally, there was a noticeable incense scent throughout the venue. If your tastes lean towards the eerily unusual, this place might intrigue you, though I recommend your expectations is it...

If you like the macabre and weird, this is the place for you. Full of interesting things and very respectful about the topics covered. I especially loved the uranium glass lol, I love a room that comes with its own warning plaque (genuine!). The lighting is very low which is very atmospheric but does make reading labels a bit harder. I'd appreciate a bit more guidance about the various sections (even something very simple), and I also think some more focus on Oregon-specific oddities and stories would be cool. Budget 30 minutes to an hour for a visit.
