HORRIBLE SERVICE. I RECOMMEND NOT USING THIS GARAGE. I left my car there for business lunch and meeting. When I returned, I provided my slip for them to retrieve my car., and waited. And waited, And waited. Car after car came and went. I also noticed that the all-male staff was more than happy to wait on younger attractive women -- particularly blonde women -- who asked for their car well after me. Finally, they admitted that they didn't know where my car was and asked me to come in to the office to locate my keys. The staff was extremely rude to me and treated me like it was my fault that I could not find my keys easily on a wall of keys. Then, they tried to charge me AGAIN for the retrieval of my car! When my car finally came, the staffer acted offended that I did not offer a tip and offered me a prefunctory and completely insincere. So sorry apology. I will not use this lot again and I recommend use of it only if you wish to be treated the way I was...
Read moreCould not appreciate and rave about this garage more. Safe, efficient, fair prices, great customer service (there may be a language barrier between some of the employees and yourself, this is the nature of the world, please understand this.) I parked at Southpark Garage for several days, as I was staying in a hotel downtown and coming from out of town. From my research, it seems the general consensus regarding parking in downtown Portland is that your car is likely not going to be kept safe, break ins are common, and even a cleared-out vehicle may still have the windows shattered. This garage kept our car safe overnight for several days. They lockdown the garage at night so outside individuals will not have access to your vehicle. We had a last minute change of plans and the employees were VERY helpful, worked with us to modify our parking plan, and they were so nice. Thank you,...
Read moreWe parked there two nights in a row for $25 a night without any major issues. The location is great. It’s in the middle of downtown in a nicer area. They have a bunch of people on-site watching and they lock up the garage from 11pm to 7am so no one can get in at night. There are CCTVs in place too. There is a valet option and self-parking option. We took self-parking.
Whenever we walked in and out of the garage though, no one asked who we were though… so it does mean that unauthorised people could walk in during the day. Also, there were a number of lots that were small and in bad positions. If your car is bigger, it would stick out quite a bit and it could mean someone else hitting your car as they go up or down the ramp. But the attendants seemed mindful about that. Just make sure they give you a sizeable lot if your...
