Found this place while passing through Portland, and we were immediately amongst our people! There were RPGs being played upstairs by various tweens, and many folks enjoying the pub and outdoor seating below. We ordered food and were not disappointed. I was happy that there was a vegetarian option as well. Their beer selection included brews across the spectrum, and I was delighted to find dark beers on tap in the summer. Huzzah! In the pub there are many board games to play, including family-friendly selections. Our 3 year old loved playing my first castle panic (a staple at home), and we would have stayed here longer if it wasn't for nap time. I am looking forward to returning on our next Portland trip!

Good drink much fun game I like a lot very good spot to come with fren or fam food is AMAZING TOO 10/10 would recommend Update: Google told me I get +5 make believe points for updating my post so I gotta. The menu system is weirdly clear and legible. The text doesn't fall over the top of the picture at all, and they constantly update it. I noticed it was run on a raspberry pi and someone also said inside a docker container? How crazy is that. I've never heard of such a thing. They also told me it was open source, boy would I like the find that open source repository and contribute to the code quality of it. Update again: Google gave me another 5 points to update my review. I stand by my original review

They have sorry beers on top at best and they're well drinks do not exist and if you order one you're giving a diatribe about how the person working the registers the only bartender and that just wouldn't be fair for her. They still don't have any food so can't rate that and as far as the atmosphere is concerned be ready to be cramped and have a terrible Den the entire time while trying to play a campaign you've probably been working on for longer than this establishment has been in existence. They've got a lot of work they still need to do but if they do it it could be a really nice place it just unfortunately will always be too small for what they are trying to accomplish.

My wife and I have had the opportunity to have three game nights there so far, and they've all been a blast. Even moved one of our regular game nights to here because it had such a great atmosphere. I've been sampling everything they have on offer and haven't been disappointed yet. Sadly haven't had a chance to try the food yet as they had a last minute hiccup in that department, but I'm fully expecting it to match the quality of everything else (All photos were taken by my wife Craftywatts) Update: so the food situation has resolved, and oh my goodness its all tasty, I've been slowly trying the whole menus and haven't found anything less then Delicious!

D&D themed brewpub. I gotta confess I've never played or really been interested. I had friends, I *know how serious it can be. It's serious here. I've been in similar places, and they're no where this nice. Honestly, if you're not upstairs gaming you'd think you were in another Hobbit bar, and I'm well acquainted with those. Talking with the bartender I found out they have paid(not just free beer!) game masters on staff, like whoa? I respect the dedication. First stop at the end of my slow walk back, I got a couple half pours of their IPAs. Somewhat standards, drinkable until drunk. I shut it down then moved to the next.

Had a fantastic experience. Was able to meet up with one of their game masters (Kristina) who worked with me and my group after a number of unfortunate scheduling problems on our part. Once we got in, the atmosphere was welcoming to those seeking adventure and was both clean and well decorated. The water stations being accessible to the public in two stations is brilliant. Food is a 9/10, drinks are 10/10, service and staff is 11/10. Great spot for a date night or a night out with the lads to play some cards or slay some dragons. Would definitely recommend. Also get the Golden Road drink. It's amazing.
