Would be a nice place to bring kids if the city or oregon parks and reservations would spend more than 2 dollars taking care of the place. Hardly any sand left in sand pit, more rocks and branches than sand. Almost everything on play structure is broken, rust everywhere, splintered wood. Water fountain doesn't look like it has worked in over a decade! Should pull up all the rubber mays and have a new soft rubber bedding sprayed down. Seesaw horse barely attached to the ground. For a park in a rich neighborhood its extremely...

Very nice large playground. Looks like it is in new condition. Easy walk on sidewalk to or from Rose Garden. There is a covered structure (former elephant house) with picnic tables and clean, well maintained restrooms. Additional tables and benches nearby. Paid paved parallel parking. Can pay with Parking Kitty App. Note that each zone in park is paid separately so if you move your car to another zone you will have to pay again. However, there is a lot of parking in the area and there is a free shuttle bus...

The playground is big, shaded and has turf throughout. On a Thursday morning not too busy and easy enough to keep your distance. Do feel the playground is ready for an upgrade, paint is chipping, toys are not working properly or games have faded by the sun. Not a big fan of the loose boards in the wooden structure and ramp. My 1.5 year old had fun, but since the playground caters for younger and older and is very intertwined you need to watch carefully if the play elements is suitable for their...

Coolest park ever, very clean and beautiful atmosphere. My two year old son loved it, the jungle gym/playground area is HUGE. I went on a Thursday around 5:30ish and it wasn't busy at all, just a small group of girls that do some kind weekly meet there. Was told by one of them that it's very busy on weekends. I'm new to Portland and all of Oregon for that matter. I've noticed that Oregon parks are kept up really well. Makes me realize how trashy California is. Hmmm, I never knew.

Really nice park, larger than your typical Park, multiple slides big in the ferry for kids to run around however there is no fence to ensure the safety of the kids, it is pay to park as well
