Secret Garden — Attraction in Portland

The secret garden is beautiful, no doubt about it. But I love this location for another reason. The neighborhood. Pro tip for all you photographers out there:

If you follow the path up the hill from the secret garden to the neighborhood above you’ll find loads of stunning backdrops for your portraits. I’ll add some recent photos I took just a few days ago.

This area is actually called Noble Field as it is the former location of the Noble House until the house was destroyed in a 1933 landslide. Also referred to as the Peanut Bowl due to its shape.
