Caffé Umbria — Restaurant in Portland

Ahh caffe umbria in the corner of zupan's on west burnside, how lame you are, and every three years I forget, and stand in your line on xmas day (because you are open) to re acquaint myself with your sub mediocrity. Let's count the ways.. Slow to very slow service. How can a line of three people overwhelm a team of three workers? Umbria magic! Bad service. Letting a hot drink sit until it is cold (because you didnt announce it is ready) and then answering an inquiry as to the status of the drink with Yeah Its Been Ready For Awhile does not mean you completed your task satisfactorily. It means you defeated the customer by not fulfilling their purchase of Extra Hot Mocha. The cup says Extra Hot Mocha. Why are you ok with giving a tepid drink? Quality. Low. Caffe Umbria =syrup flavor.

Did not have any plates to eat any of the pastries they serve so we were given a tiny saucer that didn't even fit the pastry, making a mess all over the table. Then they forgot to make my coffee, not busy at all just standing around, they didn't apologise just asked me what I ordered! Coffee was mediocre, overall pretty poor experience, much better coffee options nearby. I wonder if Cafe Umbria know how one of there few locations...
