Wildwood Candle Co. — Attraction in Portland

Firstly, as someone who is sensitive to synthetic, coying smells, it's hard to find a product that doesn't give me a headache or smell like Bath and Bodyworks.

I stumbled upon this brand at New Seasons, but was a bit hesitant due to the price. The scents were so mesmerizing and intoxicating, I could not leave without one. Those who are really into scents know what I mean. They smell like...nature. To create something that invokes those kinds of reactions in people is pretty powerful. I also love that it is local and women owned.

Secondly, I had some feedback about a purchase in which Kylie personally responded and was interested in what I had to say. So that's pretty cool. I hope she expands to other mediums such as room sprays or perfumes. Could you imagine a Wildwood or Forest Park...

I LOVE Wildwood Candle Co. candles and have one in every room in my house! The scents are all distinct and super pleasant -- my favorites are Maple, Wildwood, Forest Park, and the new Freeland Spirits Gin inspired-scent. They are also subtle enough for someone like myself who is sensitive to overpowering scents. The matte natural colors of the labels and wooden wicks give PNW forest cabin vibes.

I also appreciate that Wildwood candles are handmade in Portland, female owned and operated, use vegan materials, and a portion of proceeds are donated to Forest Park Conservancy to help maintain the trails that inspire the candle scents!

I have been purchasing Wildwood Candles since their inception and have had nothing but wonderful experiences. From quality of product, quick delivery, and simply spectacular long lasting scents. The background of the company, community commitment, and the thoughtfulness behind the sourcing of materials has made me a life long patron of this business. Furthermore, as a whiskey drinker, being able to reuse the candle glass as a tumbler has been great addition to me home bar. I routinely give these as gifts for birthdays and holidays....
