Had a few friends attempt to sell here. Provo Farmerās Market guarantees a response within 10 business days. They didnāt. After a month, my friends finally emailed and called enough to get a response. Provo Farmer's market emailed them saying that they had too many applications. Basically, Provo Farmer's market will take their application fee and run. If they knew or suspected that they were receiving too many applications they should have updated their site (and stopped additional applications from being sent in) BEFORE others could submit AND obey their own terms. Instead, the knowingly have ignored updating their site and responding to applicants.
Seems more like a scam than anything else
Update: In response to the comment from Provo Farmerās Market: If Provo doesnāt follow their end of the agreement then they should offer refunds to applicants. Saying that there are issues does not solve the problem of taking peopleās money and then telling them that there is no place for them as a result of negligence on the side of Provo Farmerās Market. Everyone that I know that this year has told me that they will NOT be attending or promoting the event in any way (this year and in the future). Any organization that fails to meet their side of an agreement should not hold others responsible for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really really love Farmerās markets - and this location does not disappoint!
They have such great variety of produce selection, food vendors, and arts and crafts.
A few of my favorite vendors are Wandering Wheat for their phenomenal cinnamon chip (the best for French toast!) and white Tuscan bread, Salsa Madre for their salsas, pork tamales, and their horchata is one of the best Iāve had, and Jam It Up for their incredible jams which you can use for meat marinade/sauce as well as toppings over crackers.
Highlighted Food vendors: freshly fried donuts and donut holes from Livingwater Menno Church, and Sawrap for their Lumpia (deep fried egg rolls - the best out there!)
Lastly, I just love getting to know the vendors and seeing their families help out with their booths - by coming here I know that my money is going directly to these families and it just feels good to support our local vendors and our community.
Hard to get parking though, so come early before it...

However, there were several weeks that we struggled to find any working electrical boxes for our booth all the way up to our last week!
Also, we were double booked at someone elseās spot multiple weeks in a row, which shouldāve been figured out after the first week it happened.
Finally, we still havenāt been refunded for a week we werenāt able to show up. We gave advanced notice and weāre told at the very beginning we could get a refund with notice. However itās been 3 months and still nothing š
Very disappointed with how vendors are treated at the Provo Farmers Market. Would not recommend being a vendor here unless you are here as a season vendor and donāt need their electricity.
