Riverview Park — Attraction in Provo

This is a pretty park with good amenities, however, today I came specifically to use the disc golf course. I am still pretty new at disc golf and this course was rough, mainly because you are forced to cross a rock channel 4 times and a couple of the holes are located directly next to the channel. On hole 1 I had to scramble down a steep portion of the channel to retrieve a disc I had overthrown by only a few feet. Beautiful view of Timp and Lone Peak, fairly quiet, doubles as a water project for Provo City to shunt Provo River water to aquafir. Temporary fencing keeping people away from swift waters of tributary made of one by twos and black plastic. Pavilion, artificial hill for young uns to roll down. Bars to climb on. The playground is brand new this summer (2023) and is really fun. It's a large play area with 2 playsets, one for older kids and one for younger.
