This place is a lot of fun! I’ve been several times and I’m impressed with the variety of activities they offer. From bowling, to laser tag, to surfing, to arcade, and much more! Most recently we did the two activities pass for $12 and wound up spending a lot longer here than we thought we would. This was mostly because we spent a lot of our time playing the arcade basketball game. It was a blast. We each took a turn, paired up, shooting hoops and had a great time. The activities we did were bowling and laser tag. Bowling was great, but laser tag... The laser tag arena wasn’t very adventurous. Which I understand they’re trying to appeal to all ages. More frustrating was that my gun didn’t work 80% of the time. I even had the worker help reset it twice but it kept breaking. I was also surprised when the worker didn’t offer a refund or anything for the poor experience. Come have fun at Provo beach, but skip the laser tag. It’s not worth it.

Lovely attractions. Hard working but understaffed and burnt out workers. Not even enough people to take out the trash or clean ice cream that's been melting for over an hour on the counter/wipe down other counters ( got into line, waited half an hour to get served, left, played games, came back and ice cream was still on counter ) most objects felt grimy to touch from sweat and dead skin cells. If I wasn't vaccinated I'd have walked away with covid and something else. Now I'm just going to be surprised if I'm not sick by tomorrow. Again, fun, understaffed, overworked. For hire sign shows that they're looking but no one wants to work there and from what I saw I don't blame them. 3/5 stars instead of 2/5 because of the look of sheer desperation and exhaustion in every employees eyes that I saw there.

Disappointed with Provo Beach's ability to inform customers of what to expect with their primary attractions in both maintain their facilities and staff various stations accordingly. Though as a community here we are just now climbing out of "covid-land", you would think PB would be prepared for and able to deal with crowds.

My experience this evening is that the customer level, while extensive, did not reach the level of what should be beyond the capacity of a family fun center. The wait time for every major attraction particularly bowling and laser tag was simply not acceptable. Of course they can't control how many people show up, but they can do is inform people of what to expect when they arrive or at least help them understand what could happen on a busy evening. Two plus hours for a single Lane bowling, roughly 45 minutes for a single 10-minute game of laser tag. Most disturbing of all to us, is that we arrived early enough that we probably could have scheduled wave rider - but we had many more people coming as part of our group later in the evening. We determined we would wait until they arrived to make a decision. At no time did any of the staff tell us that we had to schedule wave rider and that it could fill up and we could literally not even have the opportunity to use it, even though we had paid for it. And that's exactly what happened to us. At approximately 5:45 p.m. we went over to schedule wave rider and found out there was one spot left, for one person, at 8:00 p.m. we had paid for eight, yes eight day passes ($30 bucks a pop) and we were simply locked out of Wave Rider with no excuse, no apology, just too bad.

Provo Beach has to do a better job of informing customers of what to expect at least when they arrive, this is my first experience here. Obviously I've learned my lesson and won't make the same mistake again. But that's a pretty expensive lesson. Essentially, I paid $30 per person for the experience of what would have cost me half that much had I just paid a la carte. And spending 75% of your time at a fun center standing in line is not very fun.

It certainly makes me not want to patronize this business anymore. But, maybe the sting of the experience will pass over time and I'll be back.

Overall, I do have to say that the staff were very pleasant and at least did their best to smile and try to give a little bit of a customer service attitude. Furthermore, the facility was clean and other than two lanes of the bowling alley being down I was not aware of any other issues that relate to...

We live in Provo and frequently come to Provo beach. We have ALWAYS had an amazing experience until the last couple of months. Last week we came with friend from Arizona and it was terrible. The manager didn’t understand the Provo beach cards we had that already had activities on them. He tried to make us use it as arcade credit until I had to show him the difference where it showed arcade credits/vs cash value. He was like, “ oh it’s just like a gift card then.” He didn’t even know how to read the system. Then they loaded our activities incorrectly, failed to tell us the policy of using the bowling shoes for the ropes course had changed, even though we chose the ropes course as our option and we clearly all had sandals on. They did allow us to use the bowling shoes since we had all paid for the ropes course. They were not helpful on the ropes course with our children that were having some troubles. Overall It was a yucky experience. I was so sad as we used to LOVE Provo beach. I asked the manager, who couldn’t care less and it obviously has affected the employees, if management had changed in the last 3 months and he said, yes it has. Obviously and not for the better. Fast forward to today- I thought no way it can be bad again- WRONG. We waited at the arcade prize counter for over 20 min. The girl that was working the Carousel was supposed to be doing the counter as well, but she couldn’t do it because the carousel was so busy. Not her fault at all. When I approached the front desk they said it will be like 20 seconds and I said we have been waiting 20 min. She just said- sorry. 30 min waiting and we were the 2nd people in line. The new management is failing and...

I want to clarify that it is still possible to have a good time at this place, especially in the great company I had. However, if you plan on visiting a fun center, Provo Beach is almost certainly your worst option. Let us begin with the arcade. They've got a decent selection of games, nothing special, but just standard arcade fare. However, the experience is entirely ruined due to the fact that each game cost an entire one dollar to play. If you didn't catch that, I will say it again: One US dollar for ONE PLAY on standard arcade games. ONE DOLLAR to play a 30 second game where you press a button to drop balls into a bucket. ONE DOLLAR to crank a wheel for a tiny chance at 1000 tickets ONCE. Play one standard game a minute here for an hour, and you'll have spent enough money to buy yourself a real triple-A video game. In no world could that ever be justified. It is nigh impossible to enjoy yourself at the arcade when you're throwing away a dollar every play. Beyond the arcade, the Laser Tag is decent, but far too complex. The bases incentivize boring camping with next to no counterplay, resulting in a shockingly slow moving game. If you want fun Laser Tag, try Nickel City just north. Bowling could have been fun, but due to an hour wait time and an inability to get two lanes for my large party, it instead became a two hour slog that can only be classified as a waste. In fact, that's what I would call this whole area: a waste of money, a waste of energy, a waste of time. If this is your go-to place, I encourage you to go anywhere else. Free yourself from the shackles of this overpriced, loud, crowded, downtime-filled...
