Absolutely delicious. I just needed some quick food for lunch and found this place. The food was really good. Staff was super friendly and they got the food to me so quickly. I'm very happy with my experience here. edit to review. I have really liked going to this place for some time, but my experience yesterday really turned me away from the place. I went in though the drive though, normally it takes only a few minutes, this time I spent close to 25-30 minutes there. when I ordered the person seemed really snappy, though that may have just been my perception of it. finally when i got my food, absolutely everything was wrong with it, i got lime chicken with Spanish rice and balsamic vinaigrette, the only thing they got right in it was the chicken which was insanely dry compared to previous times. I was on my work lunch and by the time i noticed they gave me everything wrong I had no time to go back and correct it. for the time waiting, the food gotten and the snappy server, i felt really disappointed in a place I have really loved so far. IDK if they have recently hired a lot of new people recently, but i think there needs to be some additional training or at least a double check the order.

Bajio is another Americanized “Mexican” restaurant. It’s a similar style/concept to Costa Vida and Cafe Rio. The flavors are much more unique though between the three. I usually order the their Green Chile Chicken enchiladas. they throw them on the grill so it is always hot and not just “sitting.” I think it’s very unique compared to the other two. The flavors overall have a little bit of spice and use a lot more pepper than others. I love that they offer two different types of rice. I really like their Mexican style rice. It is yummy. Overall the food is delicious and hot. It’s very consistent so that is nice to know what you are getting when you come. The downside of Bajio….definitely the most expensive compared to the other similar restaurants. They also lack a consumer rewards program. So between those two…it’s a real bummer that there isn’t as much return and incentive for coming back. If they added something similar to cafe Rio/costa Vida I think I would eat here a lot more. Overall, a great place to go. It’s different flavors than other comparable restaurants, but feel like it’s good quality food.

Used to go to Bajío in St. George when it was there and this is the first time I’ve been back. Honestly so impressed. Not sure if he’s the owner but obviously a guy in charge was being so nice and helpful. He was getting the door for everyone, helped us throw away our food so we didn’t have to. I could hear him taking calls and he had extremely good customer service on the phone. Just all around a great guy. The other employees were really friendly too. My sister had a negative experience at the drive through but I figure maybe one of the employees was just having an off day. And honestly, the food is so dang good. My husband got the chimichanga and it was GREAT. I got the green chili chicken salad. Also way good. Lots of unique ingredients as compared to the competitors like cafe rio and costa vida. Will definitely be coming back to this location again and again.

Bajio used to be great but it seems clear that management doesn't know how to run a successful business. They keep raising prices on everything and they are losing customers because of it. Helpful hint: lower prices equals more customers and more loyalty; as you raise your prices you lose customers and revenue so then you have to raise your prices again. The cycle continues until you go out of business, which I expect will happen if something doesn't change.

The food at Bajio is really good, although it's not as good as it used to be. The prices are outrageous for what you get, and they nickel and dime you on everything. It used to be that my wife and I could get two meals with drinks for under $17. That included a chimichanga with rice and beans on the side, grilled onions and corn added to the chimichanga, and loaded with cheese and sour cream. Now the rice and beans aren't included on the side, everytime you ask for a lot of something they completely ignore you and give you the normal amount, and they charge exorbitant amounts for ANYTHING additional. For example, they charged me $0.79 for a tablespoon of sour cream and my wife $1.29 for a tablespoon of guacamole. Really? $1.29 for a scoop of mediocre guac? Now the meal we used to get is over $30. I understand costs go up but 75% increase over 10 years is ridiculous.

The meal I used to get included everything, now I get the question, "That will be extra, is that okay?" SEVEN times before I get to the register. Your food is good Bajio, but not good enough to justify the cost.

Additionally, many of the employees are rude and lack customer service skills, although Cisco is pretty awesome.

The restaurant is pretty dirty and falling into disrepair. Don't look up when you're in there or you'll see all the dust that could be falling into the food. Light fixtures look like they haven't been cleaned in years, supply air ducts are dirty, and don't even get me started on the return air ducts that are far from being white anymore.

Air conditioning doesn't seem to work very well and they've got an air unit sitting on the counter next to the soda machine, which looks very tacky. The televisions are clearly in disrepair because the images are distorted and colors are pretty bad.

It's really a shame that what was once a great restaurant is now such a pitiful establishment. I would love to know how the owner feels about the falling standards and dwindling...

really disappointed with my experience here. I’ve barely gone here because it’s pretty far away from where I live but I decided to try it again on February 1. It was raining so I decided to use the drive-through and I ordered a burrito and the queso. Along with a burrito I wanted green and red enchilada sauce and an extra side of ranch which they made very clear was going to cost extra and I told them that that was OK. I got my meal and it looked like everything was in there so I drove away all the way 20 minutes away from this location. When I got home to eat my food the only sauce that ended up in there was one of the enchilada sauces. I was super upset because the food just isn’t good without the correct sauces and everyone knows that and on top of that I paid $18 for a burrito and some queso that looked and tasted like rubber. After I threw the whole meal away my husband called and complained and They said they couldn’t refund me and they told us to come back another time and we could get the meal for free. so today on February 16 it seemed like a good time to come get my free meal. When I got there there was a guy giving a interview and two people eating. There was no one in line and four people working. I told the lady that was helping us my situation and she’s just scowled at me and asked me what I wanted. She slowly made my burrito and then when she was done she packed up all of my food and then proceeded to ask if we wanted anything else before she even asked my husband what he wanted to eat which we expected to pay for and then she told us “you’re gonna pay for that right” and then at the end of the order proceeded to tell us that all of the sauces would be extra. there’s a reason why this restaurant is always empty and there’s a reason why they’ve had to close all of their other locations and bad business management is the reason why. If you have people like that working for you and that kind of customer service you’ll never be successful. I don’t appreciate this experience that I had not getting the food that I had to pay extra for during my first experience and being received with scowl and nasty remarks by the lady that helped me the second time. She also had me write down my name which I then proceeded to write down the date and amount of food that it was that I found on my bank statement- $18.90. I won’t be returning to Bajio. thanks...

Wonderful, delicious quick food. Comparable to Cafe Rio and Costa Vida. They have been consistent in their quality and freshness. I have had great experiences every time I have visited. Be sure to check out their daily deals!

Edit/Update: A recent visit I had there was unfortunate for this Bajio fan. The lettuce was drenched in tomato juice and onions, so much that I could not finish my meal. I usually ''lick the plate clean" and am very satisfied when I've eaten here before. The black beans were very spicy as well, compared to their usual simple taste. I also had very poor customer service when I asked for a little more lettuce and pico. They added a pinch more of lettuce and then dumped a large amount of pico, which I had to scrape off because it was wayyyy too much. The worker also challenged, mumbling, with a defiant and complacent look, that I would have to pay more for this very small addition to my food. I was shocked.... The Sprite/7up tasted just like carbonated water without the flavor. You can also usually tell how a restaurant is doing from their bathroom, which was messy, and more smelly than a bathroom needs to be. Maybe this was just a bad day for them, and I can understand that, but it doesn't make up for their rude, stingy service. This visit broke their consistency streak for me though, and also left me with a lot of digestive issues afterwards that have never come up from eating here before. Suggestions would be even in this fast paced environment, work on your customer service!!! Also, taste or even just smell the food yourself before you serve it during prep time, double check expiration dates, stop being so stingy with portions, and that would have probably saved the food from being so...
