Every Time I go to this Riverwoods Roxbury, the service is so so slow. It is very irritating! I don’t understand why one small root beer freeze smoothie and premade pretzel bites are so hard to prepare, it shouldn’t take more than five or six minutes! I sit in the drive-through window for 15, to 20 minutes it’s ridiculous! The food is good but I don’t have the time or the patience anymore for sitting at that drive-through window waiting on people that don’t even come and talk to you for the first 10 minutes and then take your payment and walk away for another 5 or 6 minutes! Plus, I was the only car in line until someone pulled in behind me. I saw 2 employees walk pat the window so I know there were at least two workers there. I’m done going to Roxbury. It’s just so unprofessional. I have nothing against young people working, in fact, it’s awesome! But where in the world are the managers to train these kids to do the orders faster and be more efficient? That’s who I blame, the manager of the Riverwoods Roxbury store. Read moreI ordered a juice cleanse online on Saturday for pick up on Tuesday. There was some conflicting information on when to pick up and so I called in. I was told to pick it up on Monday. I said that would be great but I'm pretty sure it won't be ready until Tuesday. She asked to call me back. When she called me back she told me she couldn't do anything about it. That I couldn't pick it up until Tuesday. It was pretty condescending and rude since I never demanded to pick up on Tuesday. I let it go because it seems the younger generation seems to be this way. Then I come in on Tuesday 20 min before 10 and got the same attitude. Was told that is why it says 10 o'clock online because that is how long it takes. All I asked was how close it was to ready. I can still chalk it up to younger people not having any social skills. But for $150 juice cleanse I expect to be treated like a customer and not an inconvenience. I will go somewhere else for a juice cleanse next time. I'm mostly writing this review in hopes that this roxberry will have a training on this subject so they can save...

My initial review: I went at 7:15pm. There was one person in front of me at the drive thru and the inside was empty. I ordered quickly and proceeded to wait 20 minutes to pay and get my order. After I got to the window, there were a bunch of employees just standing around. After driving off, I started drinking my smoothie and it was completely melted and luke warm. Seriously? That long of a wait. Bad customer service. And a gross smoothie. If I trusted that I wouldn't be there another hour, I would have returned it and asked for another smoothie.
Now: The owner of the store reached out to me immediately and made this right. The customer service after my initial experience was astounding and I love the initiative. I will definitely go back to this location because of the ownership and let's be real, their smoothies...
