E'lan Salon & Spa — Attraction in Punta Gorda

Gina was great! I bought a gift card for my mom for $150. I’ve never been here before so just based my purchase on reviews. My mom insisted I take it for myself and get shoes for her. I just had my appointment with Gina who is very sweet and knowledgeable. She gave me a guesstimate of price last month. However, it turned out to be about $100 more than expected on an already high price. After a tip it cost me over $500. This is the most my hair has ever been. With the $150 GC I still owed $315. Add a tip onto that and it’s like WHAT!! I honestly could not afford this and if I’d known it was that much I would have canceled or changed direction. I did a full color. Gina is worth the service but with that price it was very hard for me to tip her a 20% on $465. You almost think for that price you should get a discount on a hair product and maybe even a wine option! I would recommend giving more back to clients that are spending that much money. As much as I like Gina, my visits here cannot be frequent as I can’t afford $500 hair visits. But I do highly recommend Gina for sure!!...

it was a front desk issue with scheduling and overbooking. Ive been debating on sharing this but, I’ve been using E’lan Salon and Spa since 2020. I never trusted anyone with my hair as it was to my tailbone. Brooke and Mickey were amazing and even did my hair at my wedding in 2020.I will always recommend Brooke, she genuinely cares and always takes her time… Recently i made an appt with Mickey and when i showed up they said “sorry, that stylist doesn’t work here anymore” they we’re kind enough to set me up with a different lady a few hours later in the day. I PAID for a wash, trim and bow dry. I asked for a trim and long layers. She cut my hair within 10 mins because she was rushing and completely ruined my hair and my layers are extremely uneven and choppy. Then she said “sorry i don’t have time to blow dry your hair” and sent me on my way. i was crying on the way out and they gave me 20% off for having to reschedule me but never said anything about my hair still dripping wet on the way out…4 years going here and will probably...

I received a gift card from a charity golf tournament that I played in and thought I would try your salon. I was given an appointment with Rachel that had just opened up. I explained to her what I wanted and she explained what she thought would look best with my current hair length and cut. Well, when she finished blow drying, my initial feeling was disappointment because it wasn't as short as I had asked for and while my hair felt soft and silky, it didn't have much body, so it looked very plain. I expressed my feelings to her, (but tipped her well :) ) and said we can always cut it shorter next time. Well, after washing and styling my hair this morning, I must say it is one of the best haircuts I have had in a very long time! Rachel really knows how to shape and work my "mind of its own" natural curls! I will definitely be back. And I have already and will recommend Rachel to my friends who compliment my cut.
