We were there 20-30 mins max today. The male working at the front was friendly and pleasant. There were many people there with kids of all ages. We are a AFRO LATINO family and noticed quickly that we were not very welcome By some of the other customers. There a family that was (CLEARLY Middle eastern because of headdresses) . It was a husband , wife and infant (10-15 month) old baby.
This family constantly rolled eyes, stared our Kids down with the āevil eye lookā and made angry faces towards us simply by coming in,
We have an 8yr old , 6 yr old 2 yr old and 1 year old. Our 2 year old happened to be walking backwards in the play area and their baby happened to be crawling directly Behind her , the middle Eastern mother rolled her eyes and stared my two year old down simply because she took two steps backwards in front of her baby.
My two year old had no idea that the infant was behind her. She didnāt fall on him Or Anything, i was able to call her towards me to prevent any incidents.
Point is: wiggleworks should create a sign or billboard that states that this is an inclusive environment that accepts all families regardless of race, gender or etcā¦. This is america. Kids play with kids from all backgrounds. We donāt roll eyes and stare other peoples children down.. that can cause arguments and fightsā¦they are clearly racist and everything else.
We never said anything to the staff. Again yes they were some sort of middle Eastern but still, This is America , even if my daughter wouldāve walked into the baby , generally we dust them off and get them back to playingā¦
The power went out and that was our cue to leaveā¦.the power shut back on maybe 15 mins later but i wouldnāt return until i see something noted that shows they support all people⦠These folks made us feel so uncomfortable⦠39 dollars wasted. My kids loveeeddddd the establishment but how can you enjoy it if adults are being ignorant and mean simply because youāre there. My kids just wanted to have fun. They werenāt running or being loud. They walked to each piece of equipment because they were mindful of the smaller kids there.
Please wiggleworks , post a sign stating that youāre inclusive and welcoming to all because clearly not all customers understand that . I was so close To addressing that family but i chose not too because id...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOne Downfall is that adults can't help their children on the large slide. This was a problem for me seeing as how my kiddos are a bit shy of new things and it helps if I show them.
My children were 19 months and 32 months when I first started taking them here because my sister told me about it. It looked nice and fun.
However every single time i bring my babes here there is always one trouble kid that tries to hit or be rude to my kiddos. My children are sweet and just like to follow and play with other children. They do not bully bite or hit other kids. I teach them and show them not too do so.
The first time I went my 32 month son got his face scratched. The second time I went my 19 month son got bit so hard that he almost was bleeding. The third time I went this little male kid was trying to slap my 19 month son and this older female kid older than 6 years was trying to squeeze both my kids arms because she didn't want to share the giant blocks.
I don't know if I would go back. Perhaps only when there is no other kids. Which sucks because my kids like making new friends. I don't feel safe taking my kids to wiggleworks if there is children like the ones we've encountered there. I do not want my children thinking it is okay to treat others the way those kids treat them because it is not. Every experience there hasn't been good because of this and it's a bummer because I really wanted to enjoy this place. Instead I get stuck chasing my babes all over to make sure they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is kind of a joke. First of all, thereās duct tape on pretty much every single toy with the exception of the giant Legos. Then thereās the age gap. My son is 14 months old so I first brought him to the āinfant areaā and thereās nothing really in there to entertain him, itās like a corral so you can just set your kid down and play on your phone. At least thatās what the other parents were doing. So I brought him out into the general play area where my friendās older child was playing and there are little kids swinging from the, I donāt really know what to call it, inflatable hanging carousel thing? Anyway, too many times did this other little boy almost kick my son over as he flew through the air so I kept him in the block area. He wanted to ride the little ride on merry-go-round type thing towards the bathrooms at one point but they were sort of deflated and he kept falling off. The real kicker was when we left. Here they give you these matching number tags for you and your child/children to wear to prevent anyone from abducting a kid but I saw numerous people walking out and no one behind the counter inspected their numbers! I walked over as we were leaving and said, āSo do I need to give these to someone?ā One of the ladies just said, āOh, yeah.ā She took them from me and didnāt make sure the numbers matched! Even with my military discount, itās about $8. Next time I will use that money to buy us lunch and go across the street to Bradley Lake...
