2nd Review. My first review still stands as it is but I had to update due to my recent experience.
Ready for it..... There was a cockroach climbing on the wall and I watched it making it to the table. Funny thing is that the server insisted on saying it is due to the hole between the wall that connects to the supermarket but that wall is to the other restaurant side, not to mention I doubt ppl on the other side are seeing bugs as they were pretty full.
In case any of you are wondering and I bet some of you may be thinking about it. The answer is NO, I didn't get a refund or discount, in fact I tipped the usual 15% despite the experience. The downside is I probably won't be going back anytime soon.
And no, I didn't take a picture but perhaps I should have, didn't think of it at the time.
1st Review Below. Taste: 4/5 authentic and good, but there are few in Allston and in Boston Chinatown can do slightly better.
Price: 3/5 depending on your budget and expectation, this place may not be your casual dining. For me personally, it is acceptable but my opinion is 10-15% overpriced based on location. If gas is back to the $2-$2.50 range, you'll get more bang for the buck by going to the city.

Service: 5/5 nothing exceptional but definitely satisfied, much better than a lot of Asian restaurants I have been to. (Personal experience based...
Read moreStaff is always so nice to us. We are regulars. At least once a month or so. They even remember most of what we like and order. The fish is delicious. Has some veggies and rice noodle too. I do miss the cucumbers that are usually in this dish. The noodle dish was good. A bit on the rich side. Tasty. My chicken was good although I do like it a little less fried. Seemed a bit over done. The soup dumplings were yummy. The wife’s tofu was good she says. Lunch specials always come with rice and a soup. I do like their hot and sour soup. Has a kick to it. Not crazy expensive all in all but I guess fish prices are on the rise....

The Staff were extremely attentive and were more than happy to explain anything my group had questions on. The menu is huge, as are the portions. My group started with their special soup dumplings, then ordered the Shaved Lamb w/long horn peppers, Long Beans w/Eggplant and their chicken sweet/sour. Everything was delicious.. perfectly cooked and there was plenty for us to take home. I will definitely be back to tackle the rest of the...
