Bell Mitsubishi/Avenue Motors is the worst & most poorly run dealership I have ever worked with. I unequivocally do not recommend this business to anyone purchasing a car, let alone buyers purchasing premium ($$$) sport or luxury automobiles. I would rate this business at zero (0) stars if possible.

I purchased a ’24 BMW M3 Comp in October & Bell’s lack of transparent communication, correspondence, & action since my 6-figure bank wire went through has been repulsive.

Negative interactions include:

Pushy/Hard Sell Sales Tactics: The Sales Manager, Andy (who posed as the dealership GM in the sales process) threatened to cancel my provided $5K deposit because I was apparently asking too many questions about the car (including to see the pre-sales mechanic service report on the vehicle). If I didn’t send the wire transfer by next business day, he would cancel my purchase. I found this response & tactic very disrespectful. It was hypercritical as he spoke about how I had nothing to worry about & he & the dealership have & maintain a credible reputation.

Changing Information & Poor Communication: Once the $6-figure wire went through, information about the car changed (e.g., it only had one key not two, it doesn’t have an aftermarket exhaust control, dealer warranty information). Correspondence with the sales agent & manager diminished to not answers my calls, texts, as well voicemails.

Vehicle Damage Post Full Payment:

A) Front Splitter: The morning of vehicle shipping, the dealer's lot attendant ruined the front carbon fiber splitter. The sales agent & manager said multiple times they would order a replacement splitter & cover labor costs for install of the new splitter. Fast forward almost 2 months later they have yet to resolve this issue. They sent the cheapest CF splitter they could find on eBay (which doesn’t exactly match the existing splitter). You can see the lower quality of the replacement splitter vs the existing one. I've had to proactively provide Bell with installation quotes from multiple reputable body shops my area as Bell never followed up on installing the replacement splitter.

I was passed around to multiple sales managers (from Andy to Oscar) who didn't listen or cared to act on their word. Multiple sales managers (& the General Manager, Louis N.) have refused to pay for the new splitter installation as the quotes (est. 1-2 hours of labor) as the quotes were “too expense”, “you live out of state”, & Bell's "in-house shop could install it for way less". I asked the GM to secure their own quotes & work with a local shop since they weren’t satisfied with what I provided & Louis agreed to do so & follow up within a few business days. 3+ weeks later, no follow up receive from him. I’ve proactively called the dealership 18 times to get ahold of Louis & he has yet to be available or in the office to take my calls. I’ve left return call requests with his admin every time & I have yet to receive a call from him or anyone else.

B) Rear Driver Side Tail Light: Upon delivery of the car, the tail light housing was loose/rattling. The light itself also had burnt out/dimming LEDs in it. These defects were not disclosed in the vehicle’s sales description, nor in the sales process. There were no photos of this tail light (w/ lights on) to show the light was defective. I informed the sales agent & manager (Andy) the day after the car delivery & they stated “the car is used & they didn’t know the tail light was broken” thus "there is nothing we can do about it". They also declined to my ask to replace the tail light since it wasn’t disclosed in the listing (the replacement part will cost $600).

Do not work with this business, you will regret it. You will find better cars & more respectable individuals elsewhere. Once your funds are received, everything changes as they could care less about your business, holding themselves accountable, their reputation, & your experience when interacting with them. I am writing to share my extremely disappointing experience with Bell Mitsubishi, which has been fraught with frustration and challenges. Two years ago, we purchased a vehicle from this dealership and, during the paperwork process, we were pressured into leaving a five-star review, which I later retracted due to the circumstances surrounding our transaction.

At the time of purchase, we encountered aggressive sales tactics that felt more like a scam than a genuine offer. While this type of pressure is not uncommon in dealerships, it certainly set a negative tone for our experience. We drove off the lot with a vehicle that required repairs covered under our warranty. Unfortunately, it became a significant ordeal to have them honor this warranty, leading to considerable inconvenience.

Fast forward two years, our vehicle was unfortunately totaled while parked by another driver. Since then, we have been trying to work with Oscar at Bell Mitsubishi to cancel our warranty and secure a refund for the unused portion. Despite our repeated attempts through phone calls, emails, and in-person visits over the past month, we have faced constant delays and excuses. The more they procrastinate, the less refund we will ultimately receive.

Additionally, we refinanced our vehicle last year, which led to an automatic cancellation of our GAP insurance. We were issued a check for this, but as of today, we are still waiting for it—since May 2023. As I approach my due date in a few weeks, I find myself overwhelmed with the added stress of dealing with insurance issues related to the totaled car, as well as seeking legal assistance. The last thing I need is the ongoing runaround from Bell Mitsubishi regarding the two checks that are rightfully owed to us.

Given this experience, I cannot recommend Bell Mitsubishi to anyone. The lack of accountability and support has made this process exceedingly frustrating, and I hope others can avoid...

Wow Memet is amazing!! My shopping experience at Bell Mitsubishi was absolutely exceptional and all thanks to Memet. From the moment I arrived at the dealership, I was greeted with a warm welcome and top-notch customer service. The sales team was incredibly professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, making the entire process smooth and stress-free.

One of the most impressive aspects was the personalized attention I received. My sales advisor, Oscar Cardosa, took the time to understand my needs and preferences and presented several options that perfectly matched what I was looking for. I never felt pressured to make a hasty decision; instead, Juan was patient and answered all my questions in detail and with clarity.

**LONG REVIEW** I came to Mitsubishi because I was trying to get my Outlander that I got from a different dealership looked at because something was going on with the transmission and I was told that it was under warranty. I called to schedule a appointment or see if they could take me right then. I was on the phone with Felix and he informed that there was a recall on the car. I went down to start my car and the car refused to move so I had to have a tow truck come and tow it to Mitsubishi. I get the outlander there and I have to get a diagnosis done on the car because it wouldn’t drive. Come to find out that the dealership I purchased the outlander from put the wrong transmission fluid in the car. With the help of Felix and the Sr. service manager Steven I was able to figure out that there was more wrong with the car than I thought. So I became stressed because I hadn’t even had that car for a month and I spent my last on getting the outlander. So now I don’t have a car and no money for a down payment on a new car. However Janelly, Oscar, and the Sr. Finance manger came to my rescue and were able to get me in a 2020 Jeep Compass. With a low downpayment and was able to keep my payments in the same range. They worked endlessly to be able to help me get in this car by working with the banks and helping me avoid fees among other things. I truly felt like they actually cared and they felt my pain which is something that I cannot say for a lot of dealerships. It was truly a wonderful car buying experience thanks to them. I honestly cannot thank them enough for all they have done for me. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND everyone coming here and buying a car whether it’s your 1st time or like me 6th time!!! Thank you guys again for helping me get through this stressful time. They definitely deserve a raise!!!!

Own a 2023 Outlander Rally Edition- bought it from Long Island NY. I was told I will get 3 oil change services complimentary. Came to Bell Mitsubishi for oil change service and my odo-meter display was sticking out slightly when you see it from the front passenger seat view and my adviser Steven Turboli was not sync with my understanding of the 3 oil change services and said he can only offer 1 service free. Which I tried to talk to Steven that he should honor it as it’s a very long drive for me to go to Long Island NY. He said no he cannot honor it and “he cannot just simply give out services for free.” Which he should not be taking to a valued customer in this manner. Secondly, it took 2 hours and 30 mins just for simple oil change even though I had already made a appointment days before. Steven said he’s backed up and your car is waiting in the line for car wash if you don’t want a car wash he can bring it out. How can you even offer such service to the customer? He said he is the only busiest Mitsubishi service center in NJ as he gets a lot of people come from Staten Island NY. Word of advise why not plan accordingly and only schedule as many appointments you guys can handle to avoid the distress and dissatisfaction of customers just waiting for a 15 mins oil change. I was late for work and was a really unpleasant experience. Just for 2 additional complimentary oil change services and massive delayed oil change service and customer service you lost potential customers. When I saw the odometer display it was not fixed at all and Steven told me it was fixed. They did not even try to realign and fit it. See the problem still is present as shown the the picture below Such a waste of my time Never will come back again and will never recommend my family and friends to Bell Mitsubishi again!!!

Own a 2023 Outlander Rally Edition- bought it from Long Island NY. I was told I will get 3 oil change services complimentary. Came to Bell Mitsubishi for oil change service and my odo-meter display was sticking out slightly when you see it from the front passenger seat view and my adviser Steven Turboli was not sync with my understanding of the 3 oil change services and said he can only offer 1 service free. Which I tried to talk to Steven that he should honor it as it’s a very long drive for me to go to Long Island NY. He said no he cannot honor it and “he cannot just simply give out services for free.” Which he should not be taking to a valued customer in this manner. Secondly, it took 2 hours and 30 mins just for simple oil change even though I had already made a appointment days before. Steven said he’s backed up and your car is waiting in the line for car wash if you don’t want a car wash he can bring it out. How can you even offer such service to the customer? He said he is the only busiest Mitsubishi service center in NJ as he gets a lot of people come from Staten Island NY. Word of advise why not plan accordingly and only schedule as many appointments you guys can handle to avoid the distress and dissatisfaction of customers just waiting for a 15 mins oil change. I was late for work and was a really unpleasant experience. Just for 2 additional complimentary oil change services and massive delayed oil change service and customer service you lost potential customers. When I saw the odometer display it was not fixed at all and Steven told me it was fixed. They did not even try to realign and fit it. See the problem still is present as shown the the picture below Such a waste of my time Never will come back again and will never recommend my family and friends to Bell Mitsubishi again!!!
