Mr Subs — Restaurant in Rahway

The Most impressive thing about the sub was the bag they put it in. I was born and raised in New Jersey and never have I had a sub with such little meat and mediocre bread. Perhaps at this place “sub” stands for sub par as opposed to submarine. I would’ve been better off going to ShopRite which is what I would suggest for anyone else. 12.95 for a whole sub Is way too much for such little meat. Luckily at home I had some Hillshire Farms turkey breast that I added to my Italian sub to make it taste like an actual sub. I really had high expectations for this place since I do Door Dash sometimes on weekends and the place seemed pretty busy so I wanted a to give it a shot, but to be in central/northern New Jersey it is an embarrassment. If I was from Pennsylvania or maybe the Midwest I would give this 3 stars. The workers are very nice so the customer service is not what I’m rating, it’s simply just the product. My suggestion would be to be more generous with the meat and to get a better Italian bread That can hold the request for extra Oil and vinegar. I really want to see any business thrive and I hope that they take these suggestions into consideration. Currently there are far too many other businesses or pizzerias that Have far superior submarine sandwiches for less money. This seems like it is probably a very easy fix. The other downside to this location is I had called one day for a cheesesteak and they do not make hot sandwiches so if you’re looking for a hot sandwich...

By far the worst service I have ever experienced after constant mistakes on their end I called to complain and was offered a free sandwich . The following day I went to claim my free sandwich and was greeted by a hostel employee who was the one I complained about mind u asking me if I was sure I wanted him to make my food and how a complaint causes big problems for him not only was it rude his tone was very disrespectful if this is how coustomers are treated who would want to return I know I don’t and anyone I know will hear about this experience I work in the food industry and the 1st rule is treat the coustmer with respect and they are always right so my suggestion to this employee is get some training in customer service skill because your lacking them and learn how to follow directions it’s a sandwich not rocket science...... thanks for a terrible experience I’ll take my money else where..... also never suggested firing him my suggestion was he should be train better and few mistakes would be forgiven if the attitude about his mistakes weren’t taken out on me...

Located at a small strip mall off on a busy Route 1-9 South in Rahway, some of my colleague have visited this establishment and enjoyed their sandwiches which I came for lunch. An order was placed over the phone with Mr. Subs for their 8” cold sub #11 Roast Beef and Turkey combo with Swiss cheese, oil, vinegar, lettuce and tomato. At the end of our conversation , my order would be ready in 5 minutes. Upon arrival, the place looked cozy whose menu was posted on the wall with a few tables for indoor dining. The manager, Odalis and his team greeted me with my order. The bread was soft and chewy. There was a decent amount of meat - not too much, boarderline too little. As a Yelp Elite, a discount was applied. All in all, I would order this again but wouldn't go...
