I have lipedema and underwent liposuction in April to help reduce swelling. While the surgery went smoothly, about six weeks into recovery, I noticed my legs beginning to harden and my progress plateauing. That’s when I decided to try lymphatic massage to help move fluid out of my legs and support skin tightening.

Before surgery, I tried two different lymphatic massage therapists, but neither impressed me. I understand that lymphatic massage is a gentler technique, but their touch was so light I couldn’t see how it would be effective in moving fluid.

Then in June, I discovered Restoring Massage and booked a session with Lauren—and I’ve been seeing her 1–2 times a week ever since. She’s absolutely fantastic! My legs feel so much better, and I genuinely look forward to every session.

I came to Restoring Massage (back in October of 2024) with a lifetime of issues, due to imbalance in my body caused by a clubbed foot, at birth.
