Story time:
I had several injuries through the years. I skydive, Wingsuit, and ice climb. Circle back to the winter of 2021 - in the Sierra Nevadas along the lines of Lee Vining I am climbing up a waterfall of ice. It’s my 7th climb in 2 days and my bodies aching. My buddy is pushing me to my limits and I am feeling it, body fatigued. I fell. I dig my left arm with the ice tool that its my hand hard on the mountainside. It’s scraping the side of the terrain and slicing down as I am falling off the mountain, my ropes catch me as my left arm is jostled in the process. I have the weight of my body held by ropes 100’s of feet high and my left shoulder was jolted from being dug into the side of the mountain while simultaneously my body being is in free fall. Needless to say, that side of my body was hurt for a considerable year after. I had some falls and close calls and some very acrobatic skydive landings in down winds that propelled my body 35+ miles towards the earth during that year that most likely aggravated that ice climb incident.
Naturally, I went to see a radiologist and orthopedic surgeon. Surgery. 6 month incubation period. 6 months…..1/200th of my life if I make the century mark. Ooof. I opted out. Let’s try other ways.
Fast forward to 2022. New year. Day 2. January. I need to fix this darn thing, I hop on google and try to find a hyperbolic chamber. I read that it works wonders, I spoke to my good friend who plays for Matthew McConaughey’s Texas MLS team Austin FC. He had a knee injury and said give the chamber a shot and wait until the 3rd session. Miracles machine. He swears by it. Here I am a month later and after numerous sessions I started rock climbing again. I enjoyed and love Divine Elysian so much so that I went on the member program and love getting my weekly b12 shots. The nurses, staff, and overall vibe is one that embraces wellness and prosperity.
After some sessions I could feel such an immense change in my structure through the reduction of inflammation that I wanted more. I spoke to my insurance and completely restructured my plan to include the acupuncturist and chiropractor. Two services provided here. The people that spend their time here are magical. Masters of their craft who’s knowledge penetrates deeper than just their daily services. The after-care and advice they provide are what set them a part. Be inquisitive and curious, the people here are vast in their respective crafts.
Thanks kind stranger for reading. I wish you wellness on...
Read moreI debuted with myself for several weeks before deciding to leave my review.
The words that come to mind are unorganized, chaotic, untrained and greedy.
I was in the industry of well being and beauty for over 20 yrs. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had, from the phone call scheduling the appointment to the on-site visits. Shame on me, for ever moving forward. During the call, I was told the consultation was Free. It was not. They charged me $150. Then during the consultation I was told I was not a candidate for a treatment due to my lack of BMI, and that I would receive another treatment (again, I was told on the phone would be the same day of the non-free consultation). I agreed to the other treatment, they didn’t have it. It had to be ordered and I had to go back another time. I went in for my treatment and was told I may have nausea for a few days, that I could go in for a shot if needed. They didn’t tell me the shot was $39 and only lasted 4 hours. For the next 7 days, I was projectile vomiting. I emailed to find out what injection I received. It was not what I was told I would receive. It was something completely different.
I requested Rx medication, I was told it would be called in, it never was. I called and left 4 messages and never heard back from anyone.
Then I finally went to get a shot to stop my vomiting, only to learn they charge for it and it last 4 hours.
I own a small business and was unable to work for 4 days. The other time I nibbled on saltines.
While the one owner is very sweet, the entire establishment is just plain underwhelming and overpriced. So beware. Understand what...
