Torrid — Attraction in Redding

Rarely write reviews but the staff in this store are absolutely fantastic. I live in Oregon but was driving through Redding and decided to drop in to Torrid located inside the mall there to look for some new additions to my tired wardrobe. I'm normally a grab and go type girl but I was advised that trying on was super important with the variance in their sizes in each style. So, I decided to fully commit to the experience and started picking out items that caught my eye - Many of them! The staff immediately started a dressing room for me and kept taking the clothes from me to add to the collection in that room. When I was trying things on they regularly checked on me, traded out for other sizes as needed, gave opinions when I asked on how things looked, made style suggestions when I couldn't decide what would complete an outfit and were just all around so helpful and friendly! They placed an order from the website on a couple items they didn't have in store to be shipped to my home and even carried all the bags out to my car; way above and beyond what I expected. Can't say enough great things and lots of items on sale. I do agree that trying on is important as my sizes ranged from torrid 2 to 4 depending on the style. While this store is a good 2.5 hours from my house, I'd 100% make this a regular stop when traveling through the area!...

Let me just say the ladies and Torrid are super nice and polite. We had had a horrible experience with super rude people at Macy's. My aunt was trying to find a bra in size and no one would help her and every time she asked for assistance they rudely told her that they would be with her in a minute but we waited for 25 minutes with no help. So my aunt who was just trying to find a bra for her wedding is frustrated and really just wants to go home at this point because she's upset and I talk her into going to Torrid before leaving the mall since our shopping trip was ruined. The ladies instantly greet her politely asking her if she needs any help. They start talking to her about bras start asking her what she wants the bra for... Literally just going above and beyond to make her comfortable which was really great for me because she was very upset. They go above beyond to try to help you if you can't find something to match. They're always sweet and kind and treat each person as an individual. And a Above All Else they're honest and they'll tell you if something doesn't look great on your body and that's something that you need from someone trying to help you buy clothes. Definitely a place you want to shop may be a little pricey but it's worth it to look...

So the Stockton’s Torrid store is the worst. It was so bad I ended up calling this store in Redding because I live in Red Bluff but I had to go to Stockton so I thought I could return some stuff there I ordered that wasn’t the right size but nope the manager there was rude and when I was walking out of the Stockton store I heard the 2 ladies laughing at me and saying rude thing’s about me and I turned around and said if you guys need to say something then please say it to my face. I should have never gone to the Stockton store. I ended up calling the Redding store and the manager there is the sweetest. She calmed me down and apologized for the situation and just told me to come on here to the store and they will take care of me!! Thank you Redding Torrid you guys are the best!! This is going to be my store...
