Contactors Beware of the Rental equipment!!! I nearly took this badly leaking, poorly maintained trailer and skid steer to a jobsite. When I noticed the leak, I was told that HD employees are not responsible for maintaining any of the equipment. Apparently wires hanging from trailer, checking for fluid puddles, missing fluid caps (basic safety checks?) prior to rental is "maintenance" Can you imagine the major headache of taking this unit to a jobsite, leaving it with your employees and having it breakdown or leak all over a customers jobsite!!.. My advice, the convenience of getting equipment where you are picking up materials is no longer worth the risk. P.S. Who among thinks that if the Hydraulic pump burned up that Home Depot Corp. would not try to blame Contractor using the equipment at the time! No longer worth the risk my friends!

I've gone to Home Depot so many times over the years for everything. I've had carpet laid by them and even had a kitchen remodel done. But, this last trip really was incredibly annoying. They had a sign saying the bins were on sale and I looked and all the bins were one size and they were huge. Because they were on sale, I bought quite a few. After I got home I looked at the sales slip and I was charged a different price. I went back to the store the next day and took a picture. If you look at the tiny letters you could see the prices are for a smaller bin which is nowhere in sight and on the other side of the store!! Shame on Home Depot and shame on me for not looking at the tiny little letters. I will do my shopping at Lowe's again.

I think their customer service is great however , they have rodents not mice but rats . And I just can not , I literally was by a rat on the shelf while I was looking for products to kill weeds. Until a stranger pointed out that there was a huge rat on the shelf . I was mortified because I'm afraid of rodents . I never seen a rat upclose. Just imagine if he would have tried to bite me. He seemed sick but that's not the point I would have had to go get shots . It was disgusting, I know they have an open warehouse , but it's still a business . I told workers they literally said it's very normal there WHAT!! LOL and no they didn't jump to get rid of it . So kids passed by it and adults not seeing in sitting on the shelf . 😳

If I could give negative stars i would. I've spent thousands on flooring and have had 2 pallets of material in my living room since October 2020. Multiple issues. First we needed an asbestos test and removal of the bathroom floor which cost extra. Then the first crew came and just hung around for a few hours and left without telling me. 2nd crew came (we requested someone else), they at least tore the carpet up in 1 bedroom, but the floor was cracked and uneven so instead of starting in the bathroom or tearing out linoleum, they left. Had the floor fixed which was another thousand bucks or so. Crew came out again and the bedroom was fixed. But now they were concerned that the other room may be cracked. The furniture from room 1 was moved into room 2, this is literally what this crew told us to do the last time (house is tiny). They didn't ask to tear that carpet up too. Another thing they said was that they can't do the bedroom since the washer doesn't fit out of the bathroom. The bathroom is not even connected to the bedroom! So I say, "Start in the bedroom, I'll remove the door frame so you can get the washer out. So he goes and puts the material he had out ON MY BED and goes out to his truck. I remove the door and the door frame, take measurements to ensure it will fit. Well about an hour goes by and they're still in their truck and leave without telling me. Just a heads up, with every "incidence" it takes about 2 weeks for everything, need a quote on crack fill 2 weeks, fill the crack, another 2 weeks, get them to come back, another 2 weeks, etc. We have talked to candy and Nancy during this process at the store and have no success in anything. I tried to call the store to talk to a manager and after about 35 mins the girl who kept transferring me said "None of the managers are answering, and there's 3 people ahead of you waiting, so call back in 20mins" CLICK Also, I live in the mountains so I get snow. Our furniture aside from 3 beds, 1 dresser and 2 nightstands, everything is outside under tarps, and we recently had 3 feet of snow. This wouldn't have been an issue if it was done 3 MONTHS AGO! Our living room has books from the several book cases we have and other small pieces of furniture. With that, regular furniture, and the 2 pallets, we couldn't even celebrate Christmas. No tree, no visitors, etc because there is no room. I called corporate after I didnt get a call and just told them to come and get their material and refund us the money and we'll go to lowes. Well, shortly after some manager from the store calls and now wants to accompany the crew the next time they come. Which guess what WONT BE FOR ANOTHER 2 WEEKS. Jan and Feb is optimal time for snow, so all my furniture is still out in the snow. And now my bathroom...

DO NOT HIRE ANY WORK FROM THIS STORE!!! This is the ABSOLUTE WORST HOME DEPOT we have ever done business with. My husband and I are business owners to a very successful restaurant. I hired Home Depot REDLANDS to install our flooring at our new location. I bought the high end expensive flooring they recommended due to it being installed for commercial use. 3 days after the install the flooring started lifting. Within 2 weeks it was lifting all over the place. And when I say lifting I mean trip hazard lifting. I can lift the flooring with my pinky finger in some areas. I have had flooring installed many times in all the homes we’ve lived in and never have I had anything like this happen! Now that we are in winter, water is seeping through the cracks causing damage to my subfloor. I called to try to get Home Depot to repair it over and over again. I got the run around for months. Here I am 10 months later still getting the run around. I have never even once received a call back from REDLANDS Home Depot store or Home Depot’s main Customer Service in spite of the 23 phone calls I have placed attempting to get them to reinstall my flooring or refund me so that I can have them reinstalled with someone else. We finally hired a lawyer to file a lawsuit against the store and the employees mishandling our case as trying the old fashioned way just isn’t working. Worst Home Depot and the worst customer service. PS. I have left 5 messages for Carlos the store manager this week who said he would call me back when we spoke on December 14th and he “promised” to help me resolve the issue. It is January 24th, 2019. Carlos... 5 messages and have never a single phone call back?! It is unbelievable and sad that people treat customers like this. $5000 of our hard earned money down the drain and these guys could care...

I'm building a pergola at home and needed to buy lots of wood and a few more things, so I needed to rent a truck and I called the rental department at 6:00am and the lady told me "truck wasn't available, check online for the next available time", and I tried doing that, but the website doesn't show times, it just shows "available or not", so I called her again and I tried explaining the situation and she said somebody had reserved the truck for 10am, so the system had blocked the truck rental. She said to call her back after 10am as she didn't have any more answers from me until that time.

I decided to go to the store and talk to a manager and explain the situation and hopefully rent the truck from 7am and use it for an hour or so, as I have a list with the materials I need and it wouldn't take me to long to get them, load them in the truck and take them home. I found the assistant manager and I asked him why I couldn't rent the truck if it was sitting idle until 10am and he said he "couldn't overwrite the system" and I told him this is not about the system, it's about a customer renting an available truck and bringing it back in one hour, but he still said no and kept blaming the system...

I wish HomeDepot could build more flexible systems that would allow rent vehicles when they're available and also hire smart people who could do what the computer systems can't, but it seems that this is not the case in the Redlands store where renting a truck is a nightmare with the online system and (assistant) manager and rental assistant are a couple of incompetent and not very helpful people that are incapable of thinking or doing something that the computer doesn't tell...
